Couldn't find any video on CZcams that shows the right way to set up this gun and how to install the reel with the line on the gun.
So here it is!!
A complete guide step by step that will help you to make your new rollergun ready for the hunt!

So yes, the Short wishbone did wonders.
Then, I replaced the original bands in Sigalsub bands and it did wonders.
Now I'm working on adding a kicker band (just like in the Salvimar Tomahawk).
I guess it will do wonders too 🤣
@@yanivlanciano Hello I have a 95 model. The original 95 shot weaker than the 60cm classic with 2x14 rubber. I shortened both dayneemas. The upper one as you, but the lower one to a length of 17 cm. I bent the blade of the arrow a little to shoot straight, not down. I made a target and shot underwater. The only problem is that the upper daynema has to be changed very often. After 15-20 shots, dayneema cuts through. I don't have this problem with a classic rifle and I've been hunting for 1 year without any problems. I was also thinking about the salvimar tomahawk system. But first I will try Sigalsub 16 rubber and make it 50-55cm long. But this problem still remains, that it breaks the upper daynema quite quickly.
@@alexundo2114 Yes I had the same problem with the upper dyneema.
I found a line (I'll try to figure out it's name again) that is more durable.
So far it shows only minor signs of wear.
Ill see if I can edit this video to show that line and the rest of the modifications I have made (added rubbers underneath the gun. I am in the process of making it hybrid roller/inverted roller.)

If I get bored, I'll try such a system :-) But I think that if you tighten one 16 rubber more and make the dayneema with a minimum length, you will get a good enough result. If you need more distance and power, you could just take a longer speargun.

Just figured out how to get the dyneema line into the main rubber's hole to work as a stretch limiter.
And I'm adding 3 sets of rubbers underneath the gun.
Hello , im thinking about buying this gun. Tomahawk version looks good too, but a little more complicated. After using this version for a hile, which one would you recommend regular roller or tomahawk version?

I would highly recommend the tomahawk setup.
I was really unhappy when I saw that leak of power the regular roller have (especially with the original bands).
I switched bands and it improved but yet, I had to get more power.
The down side with the tomahawk in my opinion is that you have to stay with salvimar setup (unless you will make the time and effort to "copy" that setup with your own bands.
I have copied that setup and then added one more kicker band. I have a video about that too :)
Now it's a beast. It's more complicated to load but it's worth it in my opinion

Does it matter what reel to get?
I'm sure there are better and worse reels.
This is the original salvimar reel and I'm happy with it.
I believe you can find adapter to all kinds of reels to fit to any gun, maybe in diveinn.com?
If you have a specific brand of reel, tell me what brand is it and Ill try to find an adapter

Well, it's a 105 gun with a lot of power.
I agree that most of the shots are at the range of a single wrap.
Double wrap doesn't bother me that much so I do prefer the extra range :)

1. חשוב לבדוק את שכיוון גלגול החוט על הגלגלת הוא נכון לפני תחילת הגלגול - כלומר לוודא תחילה שבמשיכת חוט הגלגלת נפתחת ולא ננעלת
גלגלת שמגולגלת בכיוון הפוך לפתיחה בעצם תינעל במשיכה וזה בעצם כמו לצלול בלי גלגלת - מאוד קריטי
2. קשר חוט הגלגלת חזק יותר כאשר הוא לציר הגלגלת ולא לקדח הבנוי לכך
3. בגלגול החוט על הגלגלת רצוי שהוא יעבור גם דרך הטבעת המיועדת לו במאזל כל בגלגול תישמר מתיחות בחוט
4. רצוי להשתמש בקשר אורגים כפול או שחרור מהיר בין חוט הגלגלת למונו

1. אחרי הצילום באמת שחררתי את כל החוט מהגלגלת והפכתי את הכיוון.
2. אקשור את החוט מסביב לגלגלת.
הבנתי שהחור הקטן זה רק כדי למנוע מהחוט להסתובב עליה.

3. בוודאי שהחוט עובר דרך הטבעת במאזל.

לגבי הקשר לציר הגלגלת - מבוסס על מקרה אמיתי עם דג של ~ 40 קילו ;) בדגים החריגים הפרטים הקטנים מכריעים כי הם הדגים שלוקחים את הציוד לקצה …
