The list says the witcher 3, but I cant see any setting in game to switch controll from the game pad to the kbm 🫤
@@Connorcloud92 those may show up once you plug the keyboard/ mouse in, maybe only after restarting the game.
Quake II on PS5 also supports mouse and keyboard.

@@NicoNitro12 I've never seen anything like this, but I have 3 ideas about it. 1. supposedly the PS5 can't cope with the keyboard and mouse being connected at the back. One of them should be connected at the front. 2. if they are wireless devices, e.g. Logitech with a bluetooth dongle like Unifying, try on the computer to delete the connected devices from the dongle and pair again. Perhaps the first device paired with the dongle was not the one it is now paired with, so it is presenting itself to the PS5 as something it is not. 3. if they are devices on the dongle, their protocol that they present themselves with should say unequivocally "I am the keyboard" and "I am the mouse". Either they're misrepresenting themselves, or they're presenting themselves as a "Universal HID device" and the PS5 is trying to figure out what it's dealing with - in which case it's more likely only a replacement with a different branded device will help.
I had a nice led keyboard and found out i can hook it up, but it was confusing at first to find out what buttons do what.

Does the Keyboard have to be plugged into the back only? PS5 doesnt seem to pick up the keyboward when plugged into the front USB connection, only works in rear usb ?

There is a mouse with extra buttons on the side where a thumb would rest called the EVGA X15. If I connected a mouse like that to a PS5 using this method, would I be able to map those side buttons to function like the face buttons of a PS5 controller?

Yeah
You can only use the arrows on your keyboard to navigate, not the mouse. I have a 60% so I need to hold a FN (Function) button to activate it, quite annoying

Unfortunately, Forbidden West doesn't allow this and you can only play it with a PS DualShock

Planet Coaster doesn't play too well on a controller since the navigation menu is quite extensive. As a result, it's highly recommended to play with a mouse and keyboard, which the PS5 version supports....So yes!

Thank you so much. Can I ask you a question? I connected my ps5 to a QHD monitor, and I turned on performance mode on ps5. Then I did the test 1440p Output, and it says I support 120hz. Then, when I press on the information for the connected HDMI device, it also says I support 120hz and 60hz. But when I press on the
CURRENT VIDOE OUTPUT SIGNAL, it says "2560 x 1440 - 60hz. Why, why does it say 60hz? Shouldn't it be 120hz there as well ? I am so frustrated.

Wouldnt it just be easier to use it on a PC? I guess this is for people that dont have PC? My son has Ps5 and i have a RTX 3080/ryzen 3700x but its the same on pc though. I hardly ever use controllers ever since i learned with keyboard and mouse because imo controls feel so much better in games however there are certain games that benefit from using a controller like when i play a platformer like dead cells but just like you cant use the keyboard + mouse for Ps5 , you cant use controller for all games on PC. There are games on PC where the developers chose not to support controller. If every developer just enabled both for all games it would be easier if you just let the gamer decide

If your trying to use a bat but with a basketball but i say "wouldn't it be easier with a baseball" is an accurate statement. A keyboard and mouse is what's used on a pc and a console on the otherhand is notoriously known to be compatible with controllers. Thats why not all console games are keyboard & mouse compatible and not all PC games are compatible with controllers. Not a lot of games support it, I play FFXIV on ps5 with my old pc mmo mouse and keyboard (G600 and G105), all the extra buttons work, you forget your on console and not on PC. Also call of duty games and fortnite on PS5 supports mouse and keyboard, all the extra buttons can be used

Hi! Turn on the pairing mode on your device. Refer to your device's instruction manual for details on pairing. On your PS5 console, go to the home screen and select Settings > Accessories > General > Bluetooth Accessories.
