these are so helpful! my fiance is haitian and ive been to haiti several times. hate the fact i cant speak it yet! pleas keep making videos. even one of you talking about the best way to approach learning a language. I think its easier for some people to pick up languages fast. i see ppl teaching through videos in different orders and i wonder what makes a strong foundation for learning creole and whats the best way to keep advancing

I understand most of the words when I am reading and studying Kreyol but, when I when I hear it spoken in actual conversations I get lost because they speak it so fast. It is hard for me keep up.

Creole isn't that hard...It has a lot of French, English, Spanish mixtures in their words...Also, it helps you better pronounce French words when it's time to use the French accent. If you know the basics grammar in any Romance languages you pretty much can understand Haitian Creole...They just eliminate a lot of letters from French, Spanish or other Romantic languages.

Ive heard plenty of native speakers say “ki sa w di?” Without the past tense. Im sure they’d understand either way.

After saying such thing, you should give a valuable explanation to justify it.otherwise, people are going to consider you like someone coming from another planet

Creole refers to the result of any languages mixing to form a new one. Kreyol Aiysien is a TYPE of creole. It is not itself creole.
