I am an Aussie ,lived in Ogmore by Sea for 6mths in ’74 Max Boyce played one night at the Craig Eos hotel. Have never forgotten it. We sang and drank till the wee hours.Saw my first live game of rugby at Cardiff Arms. I still feel as if I have been to Mecca .God bless Wales ,and of course Max Boyce
WHY doesn't this have 1,000x more views, and 1,000x more likes? May be nearly 6½ years later and I still love listening to these lads (all now men) singing with such heart and emotions.
Amen! I have just discovered OBA (yesterday!) and I am SO very impressed and moved to tears and filled with joy with every song I hear them sing!

As a US rugby player to get to play my first season abroad in Wales was fantastic. When I was alone many times in my host families house, I would crank up their one Max Boyce album and he became a young player's brother by song.

I love this especially hearing a few different songs. Every time I watch this I wonder if the guy with the dark curly hair to the right behind the soloist might be Max’s grandson, they have such similar faces.

These boys did a wonderful job. I love this medley so much. They were wonderfully picked. There were only about 30 of the 140 piece choir but it certainly made an impact. They did a wonderful job. They are a joy to listen to.

I am a proud Welsh man from the largely Welsh speaking community ofYstalyfera in the Swansea valley. Ive been living in London for over 20 years and I love going back home to hear these songs sung in the local pubs at the end of the night. Well done to Only Boys Aloud for keeping this tradition going. I feel very moved every time I hear you sing. You bring the feeling of 'Hiraeth' ... Well done boys. We are all very proud of you .
