Tamiya DT02 Community Buggy Build - The Bodywork (Fast Show Edition)

- In this video Rob and I prepare, paint and detail the Tamiya Sand Viper bodywork for the @theoagrc Tamiya Community DT-02 Buggy Build 2024. To spice up the video a little, we added a few very poor parodies of the Fast Show, sorry about that if you've never heard of it! There is even a cameo appearance of my wife and the "Does my bum look big in this?" sketch!!! Thanks for being a good sport, Lou!
Craig of The OAG RC had organised the build of this buggy for a very deserving charity. The finished DT-02 will be raffled off for one of you fantastic viewers to win and all proceeds will go to the selected charity. It's an amazing prize so I hope you all keep an eye on Craig's channel for details of how to enter the raffle - coming soon!

I've been butchered! LOL! No worries at all for trimming up the sticker Mark, it had to be done! You did a great job with the body and getting everything on there nicely! You two may have been in a small room of paint fumes a for little to long though LOL!! Had me laughing over here!

G'day mate!, yeh we found The Fast Show by googling one of your skits, it was a surprise google voice search picked it up. I think we're getting a new show of British comedy soon in Oz so we might get to watch it and some other old shows. Don't know if they'll show love thy neighbour though😂.
It was great you both did the body together too, great mates and a pleasure to watch and listen. Can't wait to see Rob's head and body, we know he's a perfectionist so it'll be a good one👌. Looks Cool guy's! I just seen RC Hobby Shed using those markers and painting over them what markers are they that's cool you can mark up the body and paint over them!

Hi there Pete! Cool, I knew you'd enjoy the Fast Show references, seeing as how we often mention them in our chats! Haha, yeah I was chuffed when Lou agreed to do the big bum sketch! She was definitely a better actor than Rob or me. I did think twice about doing the skits, as you say, it's only Brits of a certain age that will know what the hell we were doing. But then I decided WTF, I'll do what I bloody like! It really was for my close friends so I'm glad we did it. Lost the plot? Too right mate! 😅 I never really had it anyway...
The body was a nice little project and I'm happy to have helped Craig out on this awesome fund-raiser.

Sorry this question has nothing to do with this good fun video,but i didnt know how else to get in touch.Youve helped me in the past,with drift cars.I want to put cva oil shocks on my holiday buggy.The manual says upgrade with 50519 shocks,but vids on you tube say use the dt 03 set.???
Do you know which ones i should buy.Sorry for going on a bit,but i love your channel and thought you would know.

No worries Ian! Definitely not the 50519 shock set, they are for road cars! But yes, the DT03 set will be a perfect fit. Good luck with the upgrade! 😎👌👍

Hi guys hoping you can help with something so I got a tt01 with the speed gears but since doing it it's like my brake doze not work iv tried different radio gear and different esc,s and still the same problem is it to do with the gears or something else like the motor the motor is a hpi firebolt motor or do you think swopping back to original Gear might help any help with this will definitely be appreciated as I'm just not sure whats happing guys 👍
Hi there! I think raising the gearing does reduce braking efficiency, I found the same problem on my TT02 speed run car. I'd try reverting to the standard gears and see if it improves. Good luck! 😎👍
