I’m sorry to hear about your cat, little creatures can make a big impact on us, I’m glad you got a better rescue boat, I’m all done with boats, that was my late 90s hobby in Minnesota, I’m over boats 😆 too much trouble with the water rescuing, happy boating my friend!
Thanks bro.. she was a special one for sure. Helped me get through the loss of my dad and was a total lap cat. I feel ya on the boats as well.. I was there myself with cars, but the RCs re-ignited the passion. Thanks, the little jet boat is pretty cool. I wanted to run it more with the push bar thing off of it, but the sun was going down and bugs were chewing me up.

We are all cat lovers here, and know only too well how hard it is to make that decision when the time comes, it cuts like a knife.
Unfortunately nothing I can say will make you feel any better right now.
But, time truly is a great healer.
As the months go on we are able to slowly process and accept the loss..... and eventually the dark feelings of the final weeks start to fade, and are replaced with all the happy and joyful memories of the 15 years you experienced together.
Their spirit is forever with you.
My thoughts are with you mate, stay strong.

Thank you for your kind and meaningful words, my friend. I'm sorry I forgot to put your channel in the description because we already talked about our cats and how much they mean to us.. I was just really a mess that day and needed to get out of the house for a bit to clear my head. I'm sure you understand after reading your comment, and yeah.. it's getting better now. I know she's up there waiting for me and no longer in pain, along with all the others that we lost along the way. Thankfully, I still have my little 3 year old tabby, Nimbus to help me get through, but she's grieving as well. I'm just going to have to get her a buddy and that's fine by me! ☺🙏

Oh I definitely understand mate, only too well.
I bet Nimbus is getting spoilt with fuss and attention to..... It also takes them time to adjust, although I think that they bounce back quicker than we do in the situation.
After I lost my Minnie at 20 years old back in 2020 I said no more cats...... But, a stray silver tabby decided to
'adopt me' soon after.....
You can never replace the ones that you have lost, but the introduction of another does help to give you something positive to focus on.
So yeah, get Nimbus a little play mate for sure! 👍 👍 👍
@@yodadarksideGreenHawksRC Spot on mate. She's doing better now, not howling and looking around as much and I actually got her to play last night, so that was a major plus. Azrael's last buddy before Nimbus was a silver tabby that came to me one day as well. He put his little paw on me and meowed, and that was it. The crazy thing was, when it was his time.. he did the exact same thing to let me know. Dude had 7 good years but fell to diabetes. I spent $3500 on this cat to try and get him back to normal, but to no avail. Azrael went alone for about a year and started having separation anxiety from being home alone.. then Nimbus came along when I was working night security and the rest is history! It might sound a bit strange, but I think they are assigned to us before they even enter the world, but that's just my personal belief. Thanks for listening, friend. Everyone needs someone like you.

Ah man..... That's a truly heart warming story, and I can totally relate as I've been in very similar scenarios.
Im a firm believer that cats choose us as companions in one way or another, whether it be physically or spiritually.... potentially even a pre conceived notion as you suggested.
Legend states that cats were the first animals to become truly domesticated, not dogs as many would believe!
I've watched documentaries that believe wild cats started befriending the ancient Egyptians, in a period when animals were only seen as a food source.
The cats chose to interact with the human species, and showed them love, loyalty and affection, developing close bonds with them.
In return the Egyptians offered them food, shelter and protection.
Over the years the prettiest of the species were most desirable (colours, markings etc) , and were most commonly adopted which eventually over the centuries of breeding led to the many different colours and patterns we see today in our own society.
Anyway bro, sounds like you're on the right track..... like I say, times a great healer.
And who knows what wonderful feline friends will be finding their way into your life as time goes on!

Jesus.. I'm so sorry to hear that. The sudden loss is really hard to accept, but I keep reminding myself that she's up there waiting for me. You're right about hitting those homers, too! Gotta make them proud we didn't give up 💪🙏

So sorry about your loss. I actually posted my first video the day my 19 year dog passed away. This video was super fun! Nice rescue.ima have to get a boat now. Any recommendations for a newbie in saltwater?
Thanks bro, she was a good companion for a long time. Really gonna miss her, but we gotta be strong for the next generation. For the boats in saltwater, I'd say something like a Stealthwake. V hull that can handle waves and 23" length. I think the smaller ones would struggle in some real ocean waves. Looking forward to seeing what you decide on! 👍🙏
