Great tutorial! Just as a public service announcement, coming from a leatherworker, genuine leather is not a synonym for "real leather". Genuine leather is actually a cut of leather, a really poor cut. It is real, but the term "genuine leather" is actually a marketing ploy. Look for top grain or full grain when you buy leather goods. For sure never buy split leather, split leather is like particle board, just a bunch of scraps glued together. If you're curious it goes top grain, full grain, suede, genuine, then the actual flesh of the animal.

OMG!!! Your instructions are amazing. You made them look so easy to make. I would have made 12 cuts. I wish there was an "app" for you to come to my home for one on one HELP. The tear drop are beautiful and the circle earrings are beautiful. WOW WOW WOW I'm so impressed!! Dark brown was great! You are definitely helping me to get out of my comfort zone. Thank you so much!!!

You can leave them all attached and use the Kraft board setting. Much easier than moving them on the cut screen mats and unloading and reloading the mats.

Thank you so much for this tutorial!! Early this morning I ordered the foil blade kit from HSN and this is the first project I will be creating. This video was well done! Thank you again.

Thank you I was wondering about genuine leather when I didn’t see it on the list of materials

I’m watching again, my husband bought me some foil....he said “just try”.
Who knew you could, reposition on the mat🤦🏽‍♀️
I like the that it appeared to have air pockets underneath the foil but when you removed the foil it didn’t tear. I was afraid to waste foil....good stuff!! Thank you

What size earring hooks and jump rings would you recommend for completing this project?

? If their system allows for doing this on leather then why isn’t there a “genuine leather” option just like there is for cutting? Seems kind of “guess-ing” to pick card stock and hope it’s the right strength…

There is one but sometimes using other options works better

I wonder about the Sapphire with silver foil. Probably the same results as with the cranberry, huh?
