I've watched many orchestras play this.
I always enjoy to look at the musicians.
Some are just about the business of doing their part. Which is fine.
But there are also always a few musicians that are feeling it and getting down to the whole thing.... Their joy always makes me happy.

Oh. YES. This film's such a massive part of my childhood! And you've all absolutely nailed it, the tonal shifts, the impacts, the primal fury of it!
I haven't seen this movie yet. But my friend once brought me a CD with its soundtrack, telling me that this was great music. The movie's soundtrack alone is incredible. And one of the reasons I want to watch the film because of its music. The other reason is because I recognize that the movie itself is very, very good.
Hell yeah. Those were playing Anvil of Crom like they mean it. The rhythm was perfect. The only thing to complain is that sound engineer didn't capture all instruments perfectly balanced, but I still take this performance over a dozen others that didn't get the feeling of the music right.
I'm sure Crom is pleased with their efforts.

Only piece of music I have never tired of in my life. Always stays fresh, like the first time ever hearing it. Which I believe was when I was about 7 years old. 👍🏻

Grandiózní. Chválím snahu, je to v tom citit. jistě to je oříšek. Cokoliv z toho Poledourisova soundtracku Conana jednicky je můj šálek. Drobné odchylky poznám. An Anvil je kovadlina. Vyloženě nevím co používali za kovadlinu v originále ale tam zní ty kovové údery jako víc z kovadliny ale utlumene z dálky. Zkusím vykoukat z originálu Ubeda. Škoda. Moc nepomohlo. Mají tam těch netradičních doprovodů jak na orloji. A to je na tom soundtracku tak působivé. Netradiční zvuky, které připomínají surovou realitu.
