I loved this video and the simplicity of it as it is. Just not something I'd have thought of. Still loving the magic hands type presentation... you're not Italian are you :-) ? As a newby I've been all over CZcams looking for the quality presentations that are worth following, (Christ there's some idiots out there, and there are those in centrally heated wellies with a massive garage and EVERYTHING installed) and yours stands out (I must say among three others). You give good easy to use and very logical knowledge. Very grateful.

I followed your steps with Flyby Forte in an earlier video and worked very well.
I used Carpro Fog Fight for the interior of the window and it is a complete mess and had to take it off again. Any tips on applying Fog Fight and not getting smears all over the shield?
Ludo A - Glad our FlyBy Forte video was of use! The trick with CarPro professional products is not to over apply! A little usually goes a long way! You will get streaking if you overapply! It’s a classic CarPro trait. Hope this helps! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
@@VProjectUKDetailing I do not think that overapplying was the reason. Carpro has (very) good products but in many cases very confusing instruction leaflets.
Ludo A - Even though FogFight has built in cleaning properties we would clean the glass surface prior to application. As long as this was done it shouldn’t streak. Strange!
Hi there - I got the GTechnique Ultra ceramic coating done on my Model Y (Bought Feb 2024), however, I am not satisfied with the windshield and was wondering if I can apply CarPro FlyBy Forte 2023 on top of it?
@user-yd3jh1pt1i - Firstly thanks for watching! Coatings are fickle - some layer well, others do not. If you opt to coat G-Technique without removing it first the results will be a gamble! In addition to this our experience of FlyBy Forte is that in particular it does not layer well. We would advise to remove the G-Technique prior to coating with the CarPro. Use a good abrasive compound to remove the G-Technique. We would also advise you watch our “Biggest Glass Coating Mistake” video. Ryan LZP - As far as we are aware 2020 FlyBy Forte is the latest formulation. It could be that this is marketed as 2021 in the US? Like what pad and polish will strip all the previous coating and dirt ?

It’s a great question - you would treat it like any other ceramic coating - ideally you want to remove the old coating by machine polishing using a Rayon pad and a good quality glass polish! Hello! Is the Rain-X Windshield Washer Additive compatible with G-techniq or Carpro Forte ceramic glass coat?
@andreszeledon1834 - Firstly thanks for watching. It’s a great question. The answer is not in compatibility but in ‘layering’. It’s a topic we cover in many of our videos. Essentially if you add Rain-X additive it will gradually coat/cover either the CarPro or GTechniq coating. So essentially - you may as well use Rain-X coating in the first place and just boost its performance with the Rain-X additive. It is compatible - however in our experience AngelWax is the most similar performing product to CarPro which is why we opt to use that i.e. it will still coat and boost the CarPro or G-Techniq but as they’re similar it’s the best combo! What’s the difference of the FlyBy Forte with FlyBy30?
Marion Ralph Martinez - FlyBy 30 is a lite version of FlyBy Forte - with proper application & maintenance you should get around 6 months longevity with 30, and roughly 12 months with Forte! Unfortunately for me. Flyby forte doesnt work at all. I do all preparation, have 2020 version, it was really easy to apply and buff. All good. Let 1 full week to cure inside. So no water or anything.
Today after 14 days from instalation, huge rain, i was driving to work, and it was big dissapointment for me. Nothing really work, not windshield or side panels. It just doesnt work for me and I dont know why. I do make a maitnance wash with Gyeon essence in between. Have UK3.0 + gliss on paint, and that works flawlessly - carpro has great products, but Flyby forte unfortunately not for me.
I will probably polish it again, and go with angelwax H2go.
Petr Hotovy - Sounds strange! Firstly let us say that we are in no way sponsored by any manufacturer and this includes CarPro. All of the videos we produce are at our cost & decision based on our extensive experience with the products we showcase! One of the things we discuss in several of our videos is ‘layering’. If you have any sort of protection on any vehicle surface ‘covering it’ means that you will no longer get the benefits/characteristics of the original coating (which you would have used for a reason!). As far as we are aware Gyeon Q2M Bathe Essence contains ‘glossing agents’! Gyeon Q2M Bathe is their ‘pure’ cleaning shampoo! Therefore when you used Q2M Essence the ‘glossing’ agents have covered/affected the coating so you are not getting the benefits you wanted from FlyBy Forte i.e. mainly the hydrophobics it provides! As mentioned above ‘layering’ is a very important factor in detailing and a factor many detailers (even popular ones) fail to consider! Hope this helps! @@VProjectUKDetailing Hey buddy, I think you mean Bathe + , I dont use that. I used Bathe essence, which is their "pure" but more concentrated shampoo as they stated on their website. Other than that, I never use any sealant or other on glass. And even polish it with ceriglass. Something went wrong and dunno what. I believe that lots of people have great experience, but as you can see some reviews , some people dont. Unfortunately it doesnt work for me. But anyway, thanks for response.
