Flint knapping is very meditative, just don't get too relaxed working with razors! I need to make a new bopper. Do they take your rocks at the airport? lol.

Greatly enjoying your videos. Extremely practical, straightforward, yet all the important detail looks to be there as well. I have a question on using the finished product to score a sapling- is it possible to simply take a large flake and do this with much less time invested? I would think a large flake would not last NEARLY as long, but if you were in a situation where you just needing some shelter materials would the flake be able to score a sapling that way with out breaking up too much?

Dude, I'm living out on a mountain now. The plan is to build a stone house with simply hand tools. I'm digging through mountain ground now. You have to use a machette, it is too thick for a shovel. Full dry stone house with a clay core (celtic style but... I'm an inventor, and I want to keep the bugs out). Once my foundation is done I will make a bow out of olive wood (I am in the balkans [but I'm American]) and knapp my arrowheads.
I have heard boar take a bath in the marsh 50 feet north of me. Both a sow and a bull. I will not kill unless I can utilize the full corpse, and reach proficiency with the bow, for sure kill. It will take a while.
Goal is full natural with steel tools (saw, axe (most used as a hammer), machette (probably most important), and I got some pruning shears for the vines... Stonecraft I will need sledge hammer and chisel... woodcraft I will need a sharp chisel). and synthetic cordage.
Totally custom, totally natural, with my own hands, solo.
I'm living like an animal now. It's healing my body and soul. I'm stronger than ever. The cot I made out of spiny tree branches, rope and reeds is healing my lower back from years of hunched over life. My muscles are growing like crazy. My patience is increased. My acceptance with the sin and satanism of the world is increased.
When I was scouting and going out there, I would fall on my knees and cry to GOD for the continuous evil of the world. now I just cry occationally. Seneca has helped me accept the evil.
I'm trying to build my home. A home better than anything anyone can buy. If I can make moneys, I will get some solar next year and even be able to run a pump from my spring. The water heals. The nature heals. The pain heals. The work heals. Apparently to live like an animal is the beginning of living like a man.
