  • Ever wonder why you have to pay so much for SAT fees, AP exam fees, score report fees, etc? What if College Board told you the truth? Here’s my take on why College Board does what they do.

      Prakhar Mishra they were sued because there were glitches that made students not able to submit their tests before time ran out, which basically makes their tests void, and it happened because the amount of students that were using the same link at the same time, even though collegeboard was aware of how many people were registered for each ap test, and it continued to happen after the first time. And then when people complained, collegeboard decided they were gonna make them pay to retake it in July, then people complained because collegeboard was at fault so they shouldn’t have to pay, and they decided to make it free, but a lot of people, seniors mostly, needed the ap scores before the start of college to get a waiver for certain credits. It also caused a lot of e,optional distress because it either shut down in the middle of the test, meaning they couldn’t get back in or their tests became useless.

      @haneefibrahim3816 Před 4 lety +300

      Yeah. Even though I never experienced any malfunctions or technical issues, I’m still upset about this year’s AP tests. It’s still absurd that they charged full price for just 2 questions. They should have reduced the price. I would have also been happy if they even cancelled the test.
      Additionally, many students were going through a lot during that time, due to COVID and whatnot, including loss of family members. And yet, they still had to take the test. Of course, they could cancel and ask for full refund, but then they get no college credit!

For a game with such amazing lore, revolutionary character variety, amazing graphics, the ability to have a direct impact on the world for everyone no matter who you are, and an alright story, it’s monetized to hell and back, which really kills the experience for me. Here's a real-life pro tip that will get buried. Don't take any of those tests. Go to a community college (100% acceptance rate regardless of background). Save insane amounts of $$$ doing so. Transfer out to any school you want when you get your associates after 2 years

  • @alchemistdestrotieryite5345

    College board offered me a way to earn college credits through a program called CLEP. This program offers courses- with an exam at the end that costs 89$, which decides if you get the credit. While you have access to the curriculum for free, to get the credit you have to spend money (at a fraction of a normal college credit). However, CLEP credits aren't accepted by all colleges. Students who are In high school paying for CLEP exams, and don't know which college they are going to are most susceptible to wasting money. College board relies on students not doing their research.

    Hey there! I've been studying to take the SAT this month and your videos have been helpful, you're a really smart guy. I take the test Saturday so I only have a few days left to study. I want to ask you, what are the most important math fundamentals that I need to know going into the test? I'm extremely terrible at math. I've been trying to cram as much as I can back into my mind as I remember almost nothing, but I just don't seem to get better.
    I've taken 3 practice tests. My best math score is 430, and my worst is 380.

I spoke to someone who was part of the board and she said they charge students for tuition but the school has sponsored and people already paying for the bills. This is all just extra money. I hate school and I don’t think anyone can change my mind.

I mean, you'll figure it out years later, but hopefully you'll have found something that is more rewarding and stimulating to even think to realize it.....right? eh, im just tired and not happy...you go do you. Just know, when you're young, you're willing to put spins on a spin to spin something new (that's the spin). But when you're older, you just don't have the time for such malarky. there's alot of people who are going to try to foil you just so they get one step ahead while you're figuring shit out. 3kindsapeople in the world, those that make shit happen, those that watch shit happen, and those that are trying to figure out wtf just happened....don't be number 3 (
