I feel like the Naafiri Yone comparison is so off the money. From what i've noticed (and a lot of people ive asked have agreed with me on this) is that you use Naafiri as a Talon substitute. Of course if you compare Naafiri to yone she'll come out behind. He's a fighter WITH abilities. Naafiri is a caster who CAN fight. Which is exactly what Talon is.

24:18 They didn't see you Pekin, Kayn seemed to have guessed where you were and hit you with his W over the wall, cancelling your passive fear. You can tell because when you begin channeling the enemy had the fear effects on them, and that only went away once you took damage and went into combat.
Kayne didnt guess. He w and then q immediately to dodge the incoming ult. He knew because of the minion on the left that gives vision.
@@xSchockZz The particles around the enemies means he had the ult fear ready before the damage, meaning the enemy didn't have vision. Watching it again, though, you're right that he didn't guess, but without the Kayn he would've gotten the fear anyway.

I imagine naafiri is going to be best played as a bruiser. No point in playing as an assassin when one missed skillshot ends your entire participation. Probably better to just get cleaver and try to shred people with dogs.
I think it was pretty obvious you would win this. Fiddle is squishy if he cannot drain, but if he can he is pretty fucking tanky. When a champ cannot stop you from draining or does not have the damage to completely oneshot you, you survive and in turn kill the enemy champ. Naafiri has lots of dmg, however her damage is pretty delayed because she has to hit both her q's to do good dmg. She also needs to cast to do it, which you can interrupt with your silence and/or fear. So yeah, free lane.

I’ve played naafiri into mundo and vlad mid and it went horribly both times. Well the mundo I didn’t lose lane to but vlad beat me hard. My jungler also completely ignored mid and let him hard shove.
I feel like vlad shoulder never beat naafiri, he‘s got a terrible early game and naafiri has a good early game

comet scorch on fiddle mid feels ridiculously strong vs champs that cant interrupt or outburst him cuz his e is 800 range and basically undodgeable unmissable

I found that Malz works really well against Fiddle Mid. You can just Q him while he drains and its done :P.
Middlesticks matchup lives or dies on whether your opponent has an interrupting CC move usually. If they don't have a stun, knockup, silence, or fear/taunt/charm, or if it's only on a long-cooldown ability (eg Asol ult) you're pretty much set, but some characters are just a nightmare. Ahri is already my midlane ban, but she absolutely sucks (no pun intended) for Fidds. Haven't had to fight a Galio but I would imagine he's a pain too since 2/3 of his basic abilities interrupt drain and his Q does mad dps if you stand in it.

Naafiri winrate in Silver Elo was around 53-54% the days after release so some nerfs were definitely deserved. She seems to preform much less good in high elo.
I don't think she did deserve a nerf just because she is doing well in low elo plus she just came out people don't know how to play against her its day 1 why not see how she does in a week or 2 before nerfing her.

Well as an assassin she really shouldn't. The problem isn't that she doesn't have tank shred it's that too many champs that are meant to DPS shred tanks ALSO function as assassins with their insane burst. And so long as that's the case, why ever play her?
You highlighted the reason that it's bad to have more champs. Yet Riot keeps releasing them as though they're characters that have any fucking meaning in this useless story that we call LoL.
