There have been "metal churches" since the 80s and before that hippie churches. But this is still AWESOME! I found Christian Metal in the early to mid 80s........and it probably saved my life. God bless this ministry and anyone who reads this, and............JESUS ROCKS!

@@thereisnosalvationoutsidet3246, music only has a serving character in a service setting. Music is supposed to serve the word of God. Therefore it is completely equal which musical genre is used in a service setting. It is simply down to personal preference.
It isn't important for our God which musical genre we use as long as we pray, listen to the sermon and keep the charity up high!

argueing over style of music is a waste of time. There will always be music in church that we don't like. This is why there are different churchs with different styles. Just because I don't like a style of music doesn't make it of the devil. there is only one requirement- is it scriptural? does it glorify God?

Yes, church needs to reinvent it's ways to bring back it's people. In Bible it says David sang and danced for the glory of God.
Metal is definitely a great way to express but I wouldn't think it is appropriate for mass in any situation. People aren't there to be entertained but to praise God and receive what God has promised and is giving. We should receive it with utmost humility, not while focusing on the music so much that we are headbanging on our way to receive the Holy communion.

@@JasonStephens7 Sorry I'm not familiar with their exact doctrine. The Lutheran protestant church the largest church in the Nordic countries + northern Germany. Finland is the least catholic country in Europe relatively.
