1.25.15 personal best from my first-time running Reverse - Thunderhill West with the E46.
Just .12 off my F80 PB on reverse.
Weather forecast showed rain and thunderstorms all day. However, it cleared up after lunch and was basically dry. Woulda been bummed to run reverse and not be able to throw a baseline lap down.
Not really the lap I was hoping for, but I'll take it. Little sloppy.
The first 2 sessions it was raining and once it dried, slow people took over.
Just hard to squeeze a clean lap. My tires also corded in session 3, this was session 4 :)
Was day 4 (20hc) on my second set of Kumho V730s.
Had the same front, outer-tire wear as the last set. Delaminating/cording on the outside.
Heard several accounts of this exact same behavior from others. (Even with 3.8 camber)
Amazing tire tho. Can't beat $1k mounted. Will run them again at some point.
Ordering a set of RE71RS after this event.
Get my taste of TRUE 200tw rubber. For the first time.
Will be testing at East/West with Ongrid May 27th.
