this is so perfect. I am 17 now and saving up for a e46 320/325/328i but the sound comes nothing close to the m3. this is so beautiful
As a young person, look else where, these are not cars to have at a young age. It’s not a matter of things going bad, it’s a matter of being willing to fix everything associated when things go bad. E46 love to have compound issues.

I have a 2001 330i get that one. Its reliable and easy to find parts and its decently quick its not fast its quick lol
@@coredaqqer6197no they are not E46 M54 are very realible if driven well and taken care of
no they are not what? Never called em unreliable, simply said they love to compound issues, and that's not cheap. While parts are easy to find, and the job is relatively easy to do, having to fix multiple issues at a time drains pockets quick. Plus at this point these cars are well over 20yrs old. Hes better off shopping for a e9x 328i.@@R1DER420

I bought the X-pipe for your e92 M3 and it sounded great. The S65 sound had a different sound quality than other companies. They are good at creating unique sounds.

I think the exhaust needs a small resonator. It’s just very slightly too high pitched for me, and not like straight piped 458 high pitched.
I agree.. maybe fun in your 20's, but when your pushing 40 like me.. naah. Valves closed sounds better. More classy.

5:45 This e46 M3 definitely lost some power after exhaust mods, as it can no longer chirp on 2nd-gear change ☹️ It does sound nice though

@@valvetronic I've daily driven a stock e46 M3 for 11 years and I can tell you straight up the one in this video sacrificed some power, for somewhat better sound. Also, you can't just say "it didn't lose power." You have to provide BEFORE/AFTER dyno tests for us to see

I knew one day I'd get to be the old complainy guy. Being on a 2 lane rd wide open as people go by in the opposite direction at such close proximity is not the business for several reasons. 1: Put yourself inside their head. Someone who's probably nicer than you and has zero interest in the sounds of car exhaust, is listening to coldplay with the window down. Because of the doppler effect, as your cars pass this person gets hit with all of the noise instantaneously with no warning, from a few feet away.... It's actually pretty startling and unpleasant and potentially dangerous. Not to mention it also means you have the foot down, possibly fishtailing, putting them at significantly more risk. Also , if you're making a video pertaining to your taste in sound, you're farting down your own throat when you record your voice with a camera's built-in mic from across the room. Thank you, party on.
