I don't think so. Nick looked really good. He conditioning and size will come in in this last few days and he will control his waist perfectly in NY which he didn't need to in this guest posing.

Nick has 20 more lbs and 6” bigger waist. Martin has balance, flow, shape, symmetry, conditioning. Choice seems obvious.
Losing to Martin would be an immense blow to Nick's state of mind I bet. But he has the hype and the fanbase, so he will win. But Martin SHOULD win unless he shows up holding 10lbs of water or something crazy.
Your forgetting the height difference. It looks a lot more than just 20 pounds because of this.
Also Nick didn't peak for this guest pose... you guys are gonna be so disappointed when he wins New York in stellar fashion. He'll be fuller and leaner looking when he re-feeds

In his poses I feel like it’s smaller, but when relaxed/in transition I feel like it’s bigger than before. I think he’s going to drop back a few places at the O this year.

Damn man. I’m a huge Nick Walker fan but i’m not optimistic. I feel like his quads are either beginning to atrophy, or they’re hit their genetic limit. I genuinely feel they were better a couple years ago. They matched up really well with his upper body in 2021, and now that’s not the case.
His quads got bigger, but also his obliques which makes the illusion worse.

@@koaboyy His quad size was an issue before his hamstring injury, doofus. I’ve been watching him since his professional debut in 2020. His quads haven’t really improved in years. They honestly looked their best at the 2021 AC. But please keep lecturing with low level speculation.

Nicks midsection does look a bit larger
Nick’s mid section is a problem between poses and in front relaxed. His front double bicep is affected slightly by his waist, but overall Nick has this uncanny ability to push out all the air and pull his waist in tight, hiding it. Nick needs to keep his gut in check there are a few moments you can see the beginning of palumboism
AJ is totally right about Martin, He's awesome. I do think Nick's belly is out of control. Andrew was the man
Martin's v taper and x frame are amazing in my opinion, very impressive flow to his physique he's going to be the real deal with a little more size top callout for sure

I really like when Iain shares his thoughts. He puts a lot of things in context which helps a lot understanding. A lot of people kind of written off Nick and Samson after this guest show, but they are going to be battling for 2-4 at the O this year

I don’t get how hunter is not receiving more credit for the size he is being. He is bigger than Derek and more defined in some front and side shots. In fact I think he was one the biggest in this line up
I was honestly pleasantly surprised about Samson. I thought he would look really off due to him being off cycle. He looked incredibly aesthetic. His vacuum looks great
So many people were raving about Andrew, but between the two huge tall black guys onstage, Dauda look better IMO. And I'm not even a Samson fan lol. Jacked's long shins and peg calves really bother me and hurt his balance IMO.

Nick's midsection could be a problem but I think it's more likely what Iain said. Don't know what Nick does 1 week out with his diet, but in some of the transitions his midsection was doing some funky stuff that mine seems to do when I'm all bloated and can't seem to let the farts out. I don't think it's perma-blown out. Wouldn't surprise me at all if he came in way tighter at the NYP.

Nick has maxed out his physique. There’s never gonna be any drastic change. Derek has no ceiling. For the next few years he’ll be able to bring something new to the table. Nick in the bubble gut era would have been dominant.

Martin has my favorite physigue right now, him and brandao.Nick is only good for the side shots. Those legs are too small for the huuge upperbody, also because the sweep shape is bad and the legs are so short already it really throws off the physigue. He wont be mr olympia, and i think winning arnolds are even going to v be challengin as long as somebody else from the top olympia guys are there too.

Nicks legs are GARGANTUAN from the side and back, but very unimpressive from the front, i don't anyone would touch nick at all if his sweep from the front was as wild as it is from the back, like literally no one would come close, it hurts him a lot when he stands next to derek and hadi that have more impressive waist to quad ration from the front, but again he KILLS everyone in the legs from the side and back
