- This is definitely not expecting this to be the follow up video to my house reveal. Everything seemed to be going so well. Started moving in all of my stuff, getting some work done to the new place, getting the garage sorted, and then BAM!! This really goes to show how things can change in a matter of a second. Here’s your reminder to not take anything for granted.
At this point, I have a bunch of work ahead of me determine what route makes the most amount of sense; fixing, parting, fixing and then selling, selling as is, etc…

Hey Milan, glad to see you're okay. Regarding insurance; it's a comprehensive claim for you, your brother and your mom's vehicle. These will not impact your insurance rates. So, be happy you didn’t get damaged yourself, that’s what most important. Car could be fixed and bought new, and your health cannot. So don’t be sad bro, that’s just what happens sometimes. Cope with it and move forward with no grief bro. After all, you have such a great community of subs and it’ll continue to grow over time. November just isn’t the month. I got pulled over 4 times in one week by the same officer for my Rsx tags.. then lastnight just blew my Sti motor and on top of that my n54 in my 335i blew as well last week… what a month thankful your alright brotha! Keep your head up
Just totaled my Genesis Coupe colliding with a deer back in September. I am picking up my 2014 370z Nismo today as a result.

Have you considered buying the car back from the insurance and fixing it? I have a 240 and there's so much done to it there's no way I'd let the insurance company just take it for the pittance they would offer me and it would take days to take all the aftermarket parts off.
I commented earlier on Insta not seeing the gravity of the damages. Thank God you and your girlfriend are good.
Keep the faith and everything will be alright. The important thing is that everyone is doing fine. Things just need to be ironed out.

You can purchase a deer whistle that mounts to your bumper. I've used them on all my vehicles for 25 years and have never come close to hitting a deer. I could just be lucky, but where I live we see deer on almost a daily basis. For $5 it's worth a shot. Condolences to your Z. I hope it lives again, as I have one also and enjoy watching your videos on the upgrades.
Getting rear-ended is one of my fears, especially on the motorcycle, as there are limited options. Keep watching the mirror and plan for an escape route if it looks like they are not stopping.

As much as we love cars, at the end of the day it's just a bunch of parts put together that can be repaired or replaced. You are all unharmed and everything else can be fixed.
Honestly the car has a hit on it. Won’t be worth shit if you go through insurance, also if the unibody is not right anymore the car will drive like crap. It sucks. Talk to your body guy and see if he can total it for you, most will.
I had to avoid a jump scare and I went to the ditch. Lucky for me the ditch was full of water and my car ended up being 75 % submerged and I jumped out. When it came time for insurance I explained what happened (Alberta, TD insurance) and they told me they would investigate it a bit further and in the meantime asked me to determine the value of the car because it had been declared a write-off (engine seized). To my surprise, my insurance rate did not go up, I had comprehensive, I paid no deductible and they paid me about 90% of value. My mom on the other hand went through a situation her car was also a write-off and INTACT gave her 0. She also had fully comprehensive. I wish you luck man and I know it seems like the world has ended because we love our cars so much, but there is always more to live for and more cars to buy. I hope your insurance covers you and I hope everything goes well for you.

Im seeing this video far after the fact, and without seeing other past it, regarding this situation. I am glad you are safe, and that your girlfriend is also safe. Back roads are the most wonderful driving experiences and its so sad to see your car mangled. Hey man sorry about the bad luck you guys been having, but look in the brighter side you and your family are ok and that’s most important pluss now you can make videos of repairing these cars which would benefit a lot of people. I know it sucks becouse you put a lot of work in to this, but I could have been a lot worst. Your the master mechanic don’t discourage and make it work for you. 1.) Return the car to stock as much as possible: insurance company will give you as much time as you need for this....At least Geico does
2.) compile a parts list to compare to adjuster's prices, be cordial to the adjuster, he is probably a car guy and wants to help you on pricing....be present for sure when he assess the damage....if you want to have the car declared a total loss then be sure to mention as many parts as possible that need to be replaced and especially paint in order to reach the threshold where a car is declared totaled. Most adjusters do not know much about low volume sports cars so you can guide him in the direction you choose
3.) My deductible with Geico is $500 so lesson learned I hope.....adjust your deductible and pay a little extra in premium
4.) take the FMV and put it towards the new 400z
5.) view this as an opportunity rather than a loss: Whn my Elise was totaled I used the insurance check towards an Exige, which was what I wanted originally but they are hard to come by

Bro, i also got into a little accident with my Z last Friday. Not as bad as yours but the main thing is that you’re healthy and safe. Cars come and go but our health doesn’t. I’ve been bummed for a few days but I know there will always be way to fix it or get another one. Tough times make us stronger, even though it might not seem like it at times.

not sure how insurance works down there but I think you have an option to keep it if you want to rebuild it.. it will no longer be a clean title tho… but as you mention it would cost alot in repairs

Airbags and belt tensioners do not automatically write off a car. Insurance will write off a car IF the car repairs are 80% of the value of the car or more, OR not safe to fix.
a Total or Write off basically comes down to if the car is worth more than the cost of the repairs.
I'm going to take things apart to see how much the repairs will come to

It is so ironic this happened to you. Literally a few days ago same thing happened to my dad. Worst part is, he was trading the car in for a new one and the same day it happened they called him and told him his brand new one arrived at the dealer.

Hey Milan, don't let it bother you as long as you are healthy and safe all this damage you can repair with money, your life is worth so much more. Try reaching out to your insurance if you have full coverage they would write off the car and you can sell the mods to coop your money back. I wouldn't personally repair it, it's too much damage and it hurts the cars value when you come to sell it.

I can feel the pain bro. I got my car all clean and well kept and out of nowhere someone decided to ram the back door of my car. Although its repaired but what makes me not love my car the way I used to before the accident is that it is not in genuine condition anymore. Life happened to you it picks you and throws you down and thl picks you up throws you down again and again till the point you think you can not take it any more and you almost give up and then it hits you with a big combo which nobody anticipates but if you have the courage and will to still get up and say FU and hit back you become a man and that is how to take control of your life. Let the insurance play out and take it from there. Know the Blue Book value of your car. The insurance wanted to total my car and take it but the insurance adjuster lowered the payout from $4,200 totaled to cutting me a check for $4,000 and allowing me to keep my car. You have options.
