Battle of Chaos was the first set that got me into collecting again, it was a hectic year but I've regrown my love for YuGiOh cards, and have been avidly consuming the content I once loved as a kid because of it.
I actually had a starlight dharc just sitting in my room and when I looked it up I almost cried because it was still only light played and actually just recently sold it for a whole meta spright deck with full extra deck , side deck, and live twin engine. I hope it was a good deal

Same I pulled starlight blue eyes jet dragon and creamed it got me hooked ended hunting ghost rares and got two 😭

Darkwing Blast was my favorite set this year! The distribution of value across different rarities made it so much more fun to open than sets that are just chase secret or bust.
The immense impact of MAMA made it the best set this year for me. From a collector perspective, you got reprints, new legacy DM cards, and new exclusive sleeves. Just an awesome set. And don`t forget the pharao rares.
I've been collecting since I was around 8 years old, but after watching your videos, I made my first booster box purchase of Darkwing Blast (2 boxes)! Opening that many packs felt so surreal AND seeing two Lubellions made the purchase worth it to me
I love the insane impact that MAMA had from the beginning, but my favorite this year has to be Battles of Legend: Crystal Revenge. The entire set is legit and the Starlights are sooo beautiful
Magnificent Mavens was such a good set. The sleeves, the reprints, the Pharaoh rarity. It had something for collectors and players which was great.
Crystal revenge was my set of the year, just so much nostalgic value in there. I'm still gutted that they didn't print a starlight rainbow dragon, that would have been absolutely insane imo
My top set of this year is definitely POTE I pulled ultimate slayer starligh and aussa starlight and recently got back into it because of you. The joy I felt pulling the starlights was something that sent me back to feeling like a kid again, Thanks ruxin! ❤️
Love and played yugioh at school and in locals. I remember marking older dudes with jinzo and solemn wishes. Found your channel awhile back, and had me reminiscing about my favorite cards and what I used to play. There are certain cards that just trigger an emotional/nostalgic response and that just makes me happy. 😊
Honestly, I think I loved the tins the most. They were the product that got me back into yugioh after not participating for years. Loved the reprints and the alt arts (even if they look a lil goofy)
Thanks for the videos, been hooked and spent my weekend just watching your old videos. I do not know much about which set is the best but I think I like Legendary Duelists : Season 3 just for the dark magician cards and i can relate to it
Magnificent Mavens is easily my favorite set of the year for several reasons. First, and most importantly, it is the 1st set that I've opened in over a decade. I love that it has some classic cards such as Mirror Force and HFD, and also some meta relevant cards too. For me, I can't imagine a better set to start off collecting again.
ghost from the past and battle of chaos are pretty sick for an old-school fan like me but *crystal revenge* is in my heart cause of the toons reprints that I'm also trying to collect for my deck
Battle of Chaos is what got me into collecting yugioh, it’s also what brought me to your channel when I was looking for pack opening videos to understand rarities. But for the pack I think was the bast I’d have to say magnificent mavens, although I never got any big hits I have good memories with the set, getting lots of cool sleeves and pulling tons of really cool secret rares!

Battle of Chaos was a big surprise for me, as it introduced me to the Starlight Rarity, and had me going back for more blister packs whenever I found some in stock. Not to mention the hype for the 25th Anniversary Dark Magician being introduced into the set altogether.
Honestly ghosts from the pasts 2 was a lot fun for me. Pulled DMG & Red Eyes and seeing my old school favorite cards was very nostalgic.
My favorite set of 2022 is Battle of Chaos. There is some really fun cards in there. From a collector aspect, the dark charmer link monster as the starlight rare is an amazing pull.
I, however, just want to pull a starlight Blue-Eyes Jet Dragon to bling out a Blue-Eyes deck.
i love GFTP2 simply because of the nostalgia it brings. also there is a chance some of those classic ghost rares to raise in value over the year being the highest rarity of those cards.
Wooo Battle of Chaos. Definitely my favorite of the year with BLCR coming in second. When I first got back into yugioh earlier this year, it was the first two boxes I bought
Hidden Arsenal Chapter 1 was one of my favourite sets, it had nice dice and the Blue Eyes in it was easy to sell for $15 at first, you could pull 2-3 of these and it basically paid for the whole box. The Naturia cards are also pretty fun to play
I love Battle for chaos. It was the set that got me back into collecting. Last pack of that one box had a DM. Fell back in love ever since.
I recently started collecting Yu-Gi-Oh cards again to relive my childhood. I would say ghosts from the past the second haunting and crystal revenge are my favorites . I want to also take the chance to get back into playing again.
Magnificent Mavens has to be my favourite set of the year. So many ridiculously good cards to collect and sleeves with every box. GFTP2 a close second just because that along with Dimension Force really pulled me back into collecting again
I got back into YGO this year and started by buying the Legendary Duelists Season 3 boxes. So I'm currently having the most fun opening those boxes!
There will always be a special place in my heart for MAMA, it was the first set I bought a display of and the first set I really went all in on opening. Got me right back into trading and enjoying the hobby after losing 20 years worth of my collection while moving.
Magnificent Mavens is my favorite set. So many amazing cards and as a Witchcrafter lover to finally have the fusion and some sleeves with them on it Im overjoyed. That fusion makes the deck run so good and it is hard to argue with how good the whole set is despite the big card pool
Battle of Chaos was probably my more hyped set of the year, with the dark magician and blue eyes archetypes, it was nostalgic.
Yea, because of exactly what you said, my favorite set here is Darkwing Blast, it’s just so good for pulling. Plus the Starlights are extremely playable which is cool.
Magnificent mavens was my favorite set of the year. The sleeves and the number of good staple reprints in the set finally made a budget player like me able to compete with some of the big dogs. Though my best pack luck came from GFTP2. Looking forward to what products 2023 hold
Crystal revenge is surprisingly good for collectors. Having the potential of getting a full set of exodus as a starlight is amazing
As a HERO player I gotta say, Power of The Elements was my favorite set this year! Especially since I saw the live duel in Chicago where they advertised the set. (Plus I met Ruxin34 there! You signed my bubbleman! Thanks!)

I really like the idea for this series. I can't spend much on cards and this is a good way to see which sets I would most like to spend some money on to open.
Best set of the year for me was definitely Magnificent Mavens! Really cool reprints with a chance for me to pull Swordsoul and Sky Striker stuff again. Also I love how all the cards are in Ultra rare! Hope they make more sets like these!
Power of the Elements was BY FAR the best and my favorite set of the year.
Two extremely powerful and competitive archetypes, amazing support for older archetype, new cool archetypes, and it’s even quite easy to make your money back
Battles of Chaos for me as favorite. Had 2 of my favorite archtypes in it and would love to win one and see you open it for a vid before sending it out.
Because of financial restrictions I have actually never been able to buy a box of any of the more expensive sets, but getting a pote set would be absolutely amazing. Personally power of the elements was the best set of the year for me. I have a Spright/Melffy deck and all the cards you can pull for that is amazing. Spright blue, spright elf, and gigantic spright all available. Plus spright gamma burst being an amazing card for that deck. A lot of the Melffy cards came in that set. I am also trying to build tearlaments but again due to financial restrictions have not been able to acquire the cards I need. So being able to pull reinoheart and a lot of the fusion monsters for tearlaments is amazing. Add that to all the vernusylphs that I absolutely love and would likewise love to build. Then my boyfriend has a branded/albaz deck and having albaz the ashen in that set and some of the branded spells and traps is just awesome. Again too a lot of the tearlament fusion monsters could be worked into his deck. Ultimately so many of the cards from that set are just so useful for the decks we're building. Then on top of that some of the high value starlights you could pull. I just love pote and have been trying to get my hands on a box because it would just be an amazing Christmas gift for me and my bf to open together. Second to that mavens is just a beautiful set with so many gorgeous cards. And being all Holo plus the bonus of getting sleeves just makes it a wonderful set. And the price range being a bit more reasonable to acquire. After those two I would definitely say the 2022 tins. Having blue eyes, dark magician girl, dragoon, plus pot of prosperity, forbidden droplet, lightning storm, and red eyes b. Dragon. Then the beautiful diviner of the herald. Add to that all the ghost girls including ash that you can pull. I just find that set so wonderful and fun to open. Personally the ghost girls are my absolute favorite cards. I do have a goal of collecting all the ghost girls and their alt arts. My nickname in my family being belle, makes my especially attached to ghost belle, and honestly if I pulled a starlight belle that would be one starlight I would have trouble not keeping. Even tho the value of starlights makes it VERY hard not to sell them lol. But as far as in general I would have to say battle of legends is the top set of the year. All five pieces of exodia in starlight rare just makes it too tier period ending. Also introducing the adorable doodle beasts that are Soo cute, and the awesomeness of the advanced crystal beast cards. Like BOL is just the top set period this year. But for me personally being able to get a box of pote would just make my year. I have wanted one sooo bad and just am not able to buy one for myself because it is just too pricey. But absolutely worth it. But anywho love the video!!! And thank you for the great content!!!
My favourite set that you mentioned in this video is definitely Battle of chaos. Because it was the first set i started collecting. Because of the chance to pull Dark Magician (which I still haven't pulled! 😖) To start with I could buy displays relatively cheap. But now the price is 739,- (Danish kroner = around 105 US dollars)
the first 2 displays i bought were 475,- (Danish kroner = around 67 US dollars)
I got into the game after Master Duel, but I really fell in love with the Swordsouls, which meant there was no way I could have gotten the whole core without selling a limb and a leg. Its for this reason that I loved Magnificent Mavens. Whole Swordsoul reprint, with a whole bunch of staple extra deck and main deck cards, awesome set in general.

Battles of chaos was one of my absolute favorite sets this year! I chased the 25th anniversary DM, I love guardian chimera as well. I only wish I could have pulled that starlight dharc
MAMA for me, the sleeves are nice but the reprints made me considering more stuff to collect in which i would never think of. I didnt see clearly the pharao rares on video at first, but after i saw some on your pull video, i kinda like it, maybe more foil option in the future?

I think my favorite set of the year has to Darkwing Blast. I loved all the dracoslayer cards. Additionally the value of all the kashtira and bystials made opening boxes worthwhile.

I think my favorite set was probably Power of the Elements. Lots of cool deck upgrades for older stuff, really strong new decks, and some cool generic stuff like Garura as well

Loved darkwing blast. Always been a huge blackwing fan and the black winged dragon is my absolute favorite card so getting a Starlight rare of it was amazing
My number one set of the year was gftp 2 I loved the fact that they brought in new ghost rares and kept a couple of old ones.
For me! It is Battle of Chaos because of the DM support, gives the bump needed for dark magician that was needed! And that Bandai art DM definitely a collectors chase!

I didn't get too lucky with the crystal revenge box it had 1 damaged pack and 1 very slight damage at the top of the cards also on my channel.

I really loved battle of chaos because it had great dark magician support I needed for my deck. I bought around 5 booster boxes to pull The Dark Magicians starlight rare and never got it but ill get it eventually. I loved that set so much that when tsx1 samurai dropped the BACH playmat I copped one right away lol
I’m torn between Battles of Chaos, GFTP2 and MAMA. I love all the DM era support we got in BOC and love Jet Dragon! GFTP2 has a special place in my heart since it was the first time I pulled a ghost rare. But overall, MAKA is probably my set of the year for the amazing sleeves, reprints and chase cards!
Dimension force holds a special place in my heart because it was the first booster box I ever bought, I bought 3 total. Nearly finished the full set in my binder but didn't quite vet the full way there.
Magnificent Mavens was the best set for nostalgia value for sure. POTE was best from a meta perspective but I have to go with MAMA for the reprints overall.
My fav is GFTP 2. Bought two cases and pulled 6 ghost rares in my surprise in good condition. I'm excited for GFTP 3
Ghosts from the past came out as I was getting back into collecting and I saw it as a cool way to get access to ghost rares. I enjoyed it the most.
my favourite set is DABL since it has so many meta defining cards, which as a person who plays for the competitive tcg scene this set was amazing. POTE had archetype specific cards, but darkwing blast had so many staples such as the bystials, and the kashtira cards.
Magnificent Mavens, 2022 Mega Tin & GFTP 2 were the best sets for me. Tons of good reprints and great on playing and collecting
Battles of chaos was the newest set when I got back into collecting and I personally think it's a great set. I think it's a set that will age really well over time.
My personal experience with 10th (HAC1) was getting the highest TCGplayer valued card, Skill Drain in starlight rarity which at the time was 30$ and I bought 2 Hidden Arsenals and acquired a playset of the Skill Drains now. Also the dice helped because I didn't feel like I was having to buy them separately from a tcg shop for a lot more.
I love Darkwing Blast. From a collecting perspective. Black Winged Dragon has been a big chase for me with the starlight that I still haven't been able to get.
Magnificent mavens was just insane. Amazing reprints and new cards, the perfect set for me. BLCR is also so strong, but I loved Mavens. Great year end for Yugioh!
DABL was my favourite set to open. Just so many nice possible pulls. Also I pulled Starlight Ecclesia from 5 tournament entry boosters.
Weirdly my favorite is the one you poke fun at in the thumbnail, Ghosts From the Past: The 2nd Haunting, haha.
I actually think the Ghost Rares look pretty neat, and it's the first non-Speed Duels thing I've bought in a long time.
I would have to say magnificent mavens was the best for me. A lot of awesome reprints in MAMA as well as some pretty sweet pharaohs rares. This set also gave me the opportunity to finish a couple decks I've been working on finding the cards for all year, as well as added some pretty awesome cards to my personal collection. All around good set, plus I've actually found 2 pharaohs rares(from the same mini box, crystal bond and necrovalley). Would love to find a DMG but the Necrovalley is pretty awesome, it looks amazing as a pharaohs rare.

My favourite set by far would be BLCR(loved all the starlight rares) and the runner up is definitely Battle of Chaos which hit me with nostalgia
So many great sets this year. It's a hard battle between Ghost From the past 2, Battles of Legend: Crystal Revenge and Magnificent Mavens for me. But my favorite is MAMA for all the for the reprints and Pharaoh’s Rare
Battle of Chaos got me into yugioh so that’s for sure my favorite set of the year! I didn’t pull the DM or any starlights but I did get a few chase cards! I ended up getting the DM once it settled around $90. Hard to find one not super OC for a good price though. Gotta love eBay Auctions!
I’d have to say Magnificent Mavens is my overall favorite as it’s the first set I’ve gotten that has awesome cards, comes with some pretty cool card sleeves, and it’s actually a pretty affordable set getting just one mini box!
My favorite set of the year had to be the Batlle's of Legend Crystal Revenge! I know they weren't as competitive, but I loved the Advanced Crystal Beasts and the chance at Starlight Exodia
I love Ghosts from the Past 2 and MAMA so much, but my absolute Favorite Set is Battle of Legends: Crystal Revenge with all of his Starlights inside! These Starlights look so good and bring back the old Loves like Exodia or Yata!
I gotta agree with you, MAMA is for sure the best set from a collector's perspective. So many nice reprints at high rarity so it makes everything look so beautiful. Unfortunate that the high pricing of cards, but that's the love for the chase of the nostalgic and fan loved cards. Also as an E-Hero fan, love the upgrade in rarirty :)
Mavens is probably my favorite of the year. I havent gotten the chance to open any yet but it makes swordsoul more affordable so I'll be able to build the deck at some point
As someone who recently started collecting again and lacked staples, I loved Magnificent Mavens. Such a dope set.
Mavens deff is my favorite set this year. Building something competent with it is pretty easy. Also just getting Sky Strikers for me to collect is awesome!
Darkwing blast is my favorite this year. At my locals I play blackwing and the new support helped me out a lot

I LOVED Crystal Revenge, between the great toon reprints, accesscode and the exodia starlight, its a homerun in my book
Best set for me is the blcr. As a kid I always wanted to pull the exodia from lob but I never pulled a single limb. The excitement to pull a starlight exodia is a big throwback for me as a collector
I loved Darkwing Blast! All the new Blackwings are sick, and the Kashtira's really shook up the meta game
Mines gotta be crystal revenge because I loved the structure deck for crystal beasts for the nostalgia and I'm looking forward to pulling some holos of them for my deck
MAMA and DABL were my favorites of the year. No doubt about it. Awesome cards and nice value on a lot of the cards too. It definitely helps that I've gotten some great pulls from both of them lol. If I had to choose just one though, it'd be Darkwing Blast.
My favorite set was Magnificent mavens because the DM Era Ishizu cards that wound up having meta impact! The fact that the biggest DM figures got High rarity prints as Pharoh’s rares. My second fave set was Battle of Chaos.

I would have say battle of legends; crystal revenge just because of the starlight exodia set would love to see you have a graded set of starlight exodia. Keep pulling this video ready helps for collecting.
My favorite set from 2022 was definitely the mega tin because not only did it finally complete the set from the other tins but it also had some amazing reprints from ash blossom (Which i needed at the time) to forbidden droplet.
