I don’t mind the low prices right now because it gives me a chance to buy some of the cards I really want
Facts💯
Exactly 🔥😈
Yup lol
I wish I could of bought the cards before HYPE
Wait for WW3 everything will tank trust bro🙏
I know it really sucks that you've lost so much money from opening boxes for us but I wanted to say thank you for doing that. You are the real King of Games.
He ain't loose any money he gained more by CZcams views
@@Mr.grubby majority of youtube earnings are from ads, im on premium so im not sure if rux puts ads or not
@@rickyyyho he does I get ads all the time
@@Mr.grubby yup lol, he quit work to go full time youtube. Definitely making bank
It does feel like unless you get a starlight there’s only one decent valued card in the newer sets
New Yugioh is booty
Yep, it's all the cards that are like 1 or 2 in a 700$ case, and you have to get lucky and get the best card of the starlights/ghost rare and then have to hope you get a psa 10. lol
it's amazing to see the collection grow! just watched your "My Top 10 RAREST & Most Expensive Yugioh Cards!" video from 2 years ago.
keep up the good work and good luck with everything!
For me the card prices going down is good as many collectors especially the ones just getting back to Yu-Gi-Oh will not be overwhelmed by the prices of the cards especially some cards affect the price of sealed sets, it being too expensive for them.
I've got a huge amount of mid-tier cards in my personal collection that I would probably sell in the future, if push comes to shove! My higher end cards like my PSA 10 flame wingman I probably wouldn't sell as it has the most sentimental value to me. It's hard to juggle the collection side of things and the investment side of things in this hobby, but we each learn as we go!
This is a very interesting question, Rux. I’m planning to send in some cards for the first time to PSA. I’m not certain what to think of the card market. I don’t think it really matters a whole lot to me in terms of graded cards at least since I plan on just keeping all of them. However, I’ve recently made the long-term collecting goal of collecting the first 20 secret rare cards released, so low prices will make that more feasible! Thanks, Rux
Great video! Always satisfying looking at shiny, rare yugioh cards especially those Rainbow Dragons. Upsetting to see so many cards going down, makes me anxious about holding rare cards that you'd imagine would only go up in value.
I'm happy because I got $21,000 for my collection. Now everything would be around $17,000
Great video! I have several of these same old school cards that could possibly be PSA 10 worthy. Just haven't had the guts to pull the trigger and grade them
Love to see how the card market changes over just a year, thank you for showing these off again
Stumbled on your channel and glad I did. Something new for me to start binge watching! Haha
Thankfully for me, I collect raw cards. And the market being down means I can grow my collection. Unfortunately, I mainly collect vintage cards and started getting into Japanese cards. Those old school ultimates only seem to go up.
I collect raw cards as well. I can’t stand looking at a card in a case. I need the feeling of seeing it and holding it raw. Can’t stand looking at a graded card and seeing the glare of the case😂 let’s hope the prices keep going down so we can get more cards!!!
Collecting raw cards is way better because you have actual feeling of collecting, and graded cards look to me more like some business than the actual collecting, i kinda stopped collecting because i only need one card and i got all that i needed but videos like this one kinda make people reject from collecting because of money lose, so ruxin shouldn't make them more.
I'm in Japan now, and I've been buying a bunch of cards in Japanese to collect.
Curious to see where you got the Jinzo prices from because a PSA 9 1st edi just sold last week on eBay for 1k in auction and a BGS 9 I sold for a little shy of $900..
I have 5 dark magician cards,4 dark magician girl,2 dark paladin,4blue eyes white dragon,3 red eyes black dragon, 2 Exodia the forbidden one,2 dark necrofear, and many other cards that I will keep. I will get some graded but I don't think I will sell any of them. The thrill of finding them was the best feeling ever. Love you videos and love to see more of them in the future. Rock on Yu Gi Oh!!!!!
I really hope B. Skull Dragon goes back up because that card is truly nostalgic when it comes to the anime as well. Other than Summoned Skull and Red Eyes, that’s definitely my favorite/the best one in the whole set
I think that card prices going down is good for most cards, however moving forward i think that the price of meta-relevant cards is going to rise while the price of more “collectable” cards is going drop (I think that some starlight charmers are going to rise though).
Also it would be really cool to see how your top 25 most expensive cards looks like now and/or your top 100 pulls of all time!
I kind of want to get started with grading my cards and attempting to get psa 10s for all of the og set cards. It’s going to be expensive but maybe one day. Great video btw
Ruxin has lost so much money now that he has to win Pegasus 3 million dollar yugioh tournament to recover from that Psv box (still a better reason than Joey).
I didn't expect the yugioh market to crash this much honestly. Especially the LOB PSA 10s
I’m honestly pretty happy about the card prices going down so I can get back into everything, but it really sucks for people that have been holding onto some of these for a while now.
my Nadir servant went down by quite a bit as have many of other cards in my binder but hoping they'll start to boom again sooner rather than later! Keep up the good work Rux.
bro they wont nadir was a meta card that is no longer meta and has been reprinted
@@fawfgaw2647 i know that, i'm referring to many other cards btw
I feel like card's that are collector's staples are always going to retain value, but any "meta" and modern cards that are expensive now certainly won't stay that way because of Konami constantly reprinting cards.
ALSO, CONGRATULATIONS ON 150K Subs!!! So Awesome man!
Yeh the price drop definitely sucks for sellers. Thanks for the great video! Love information and price vids like this!
The passing of Kazuki Takahashi did make me worry about the future of the game and cards. But my ... most annoying loss so far was 34 copies of the Floowandereeze field spell/Map. I bought them at like 60% around 2 bucks each. Only sold 6 ever because most people already had theirs by then. And now it's being rarity bumped so they tanked to cents. ;-;
To be honest, I only just started collecting cards, but price fluctuating for collectibles is expected, but either way, some of the oldest pulls should definitely worth more as time goes on.
The cyber dragons and the toon blue eyes are definietly one of the coolest cards ever printed. Such gems, would love to add them to my collection if they drop even more in price
Card prices going down seemed inevitable during the hype. But definitely saved some money just waiting a few months to a year for large purchases
I haven't really been keeping up with card prices, but I think its nice when the overall costs for cards are lower so its more affordable for everyone
That Ghost Rare hiding behind the shelf truly was a ghost lol
Losing value is always bad man. Especially when they come out with reprints. I hate it when companies do that. I can understand maybe like one reprint but no more than that. Just brings the interest lower and lower to collections.
Wow. Ghost Red Rose Dragon is $15k at PSA 10. I can forget ever adding that one to my collection. It’s literally the card I want most that I don’t own… Congrats on your profit tho. Best regrade ever.
I had a PSA 9 first Ed goblin attack force. Bought 2 years ago for $120+ definetly gone down a bit! But it's my favourite card so I'm not going to sell it.
This is a cool idea man. I am happy about the market coming down and making it easier for me to get cards/packs I want.
I'm not too invested in the old school collection stuff but as a player I definitely appreciate dips. I've been burned on newer stuff lately too though but on a much smaller scale.
As I don't really pay much attention to the value of my own cards, I don't know how much money I've (probably) lost for my collection. Honestly though, I'm fine with the prices falling, as it makes it a bit easier to build the jank decks I want to, such as my Valkyrie deck
as someone that doesn’t open/buy cards but just loves your channel, cards prices aren’t something i quite think about
I’ve been using this as an opportunity to purchase the cards I could never afford before during the peak the last few years. I try to stick to high rarity, unique cards (gold lettering/gold series) and cards I genuinely like to not be disappointed when prices fluctuate.
So nice to see these cards again! As expected, the market went down after all the hype. Unfortunate, but I think prices are more reasonable now
It's funny, I don't sell any cards but the values makes an impression on me to the point I take better care of those cards and chase the cards in sets with higher value. But love getting those cards in the tins.
Thanks for putting this video together. Amazing to see the prices on these cards.
Yes yes yes, a top 100 pulls of all time video would be awesome!! Super cool idea
Hopefully prices will go back up again... Love these type of videos. Keep it going brother :)
Chaos Emperor Dragon was always my favorite when I was a kid playing the game. Now I have no cards at all, but some times wish I still had that one.
I really don't mind the market going down. most of the higher end stuff I have is stuff that I don't plan on ever selling, but if stuff is dropping makes it easier to buy more high end
It's quite sobering seeing the amount of value decrease in a single card. I just made my most expensive single card purchase so far in the form of Baronne to complete my SS deck. When it gets printed again I can't wait to see the price go down into the dirt. You are a legend Rux
As I started playing and getting into the game again late last year, I found my old CP01 Sakuretsu Armor from back then in really good condition. I was really surprised that the card actually holds value. For now I'll hold it.
I’m confident that card prices will go back up eventually, but a lot of the collector cards that aren’t S tier will struggle for a while
I just started buying tactical masters for the big pulls but they are in german are they as worth as in english ?
A lot of the huge classic cards are at least still a solid price after the 2021 hype! As many have said it's a great time to collect cards that have dropped that I may have not been able to get prior
The prices are probably going to go back up once the hype comes back but now I can finaly get some cards I always wanted
With so many cards getting graded when the prices sky-rocketed it’s not a surprise that prices have dipped a bit hopefully the market picks back up again.
I wouldn’t mind a few of those packs to try get a gem/mint 10 myself LOL.
That's just a normal thing for collecting. Prices will always go up and down, but the memories of getting that item will always stay.
That's kind of how I view my GameCube collection. I have 348 of the 653 games world-wide, trying to get them all. The price fluctuations of games I already have doesn't really matter to me, because I'm not selling them.
It’s really tough to have a profit loss on graded cards but i do hope that the value goes up eventually especially for the old school cards
I’m happy that they’re going down.. good time to buy some of the more expensive cards vs when the prices is up
I was there and watched the video when it dropped when you pulled that Ultimate Rare Cyberdark Dragon!!
Best gain I ever got was when Kozmo Dark Destroyer came out and I pulled a playset in like 20 blisters. I only traded them but I did get a lot of cool cards for it. Never worried about the card prices beother
hi I have got a question if I find a card online that is a yugioh magic card error with a miss cut error what wold the value be if I am lucky to find it
I really think prices can only go up (except when there is a reprint nearby, but even then you can sell it before the impending doom). I myself dont buy expecting cards to go up but if I had the money I'll definitely go for it. I've been buying cheap collections and finding some gems in it
As a person who doesn’t own many (if any) really expensive cards, I think lower prices are good for those who want to purchase some old school favorites
I think it's nice that the price of cards have decreased since it allows more people to get ahold of them, BUT it does suck from the collectors pov. however, i do think they'll go back up eventually as they kind of almost always do.
Thank you! I recently started and I enjoy the vids!
That Black Rose. It really shows how erratic the market can be
I have a good bit of GX and V/VMAX Pokemon cards that the prices went down on but I liked them too much to lose. I do check the prices every now and then on the cards I had previously sold too and I managed to sell them at the right time. I also had found a misprint Holo Jolteon from the Jungle set that didn't have the set logo I sold for a couple thousand.
Long term it will always go up, so buy what you can now! Honestly, your videos got me back into collecting (not dueling because yugioh is crazy right now).
It will go back up after this year, but alot of the not as desired cards that some people want will stay low that way trades or buying will happen more often
Crazy how cards are like stocks! Yeah it sucks when they go down but so thrilling when they go to the moon!!!!!!
Loved the blue-eyes white dragon!
As a collector I'm glad the card price is down but it was nice knowing if I needed the money I could sell them
All the graded cards I've bought have been for collecting. I would always consider it an option to sell them but only if I really had to. I collect with the sake of building a collection, not with the intention of getting rid of it.
I will hope to take advantage of prices getting lower to get some of my collection and decks finished
A top 20 favourite cards in your collection would be really cool.
i´ve started collecting not so long ago so im still catching up to the markets speed. My most valuable card right now is a duel terminal king of the swamp and i really wish it doesnt flop too much XD
I've made a bit of money with my Dark Magician Girl MFC-000 Unlimited PSA 9 since I bought it. Overall I'm pretty happy with prices going down, they were a bit too high in my opinion
I’m happy about it actually. I just ordered a pair of Dragoons and some Nibirus. I could never have done that before . Granted the new reprints help but still it’s great to get these cards now at affordable rates. At some point they’ll go back up, so get ‘em while they’re cheap folks!! 😂
I love seeing all the graded cards even though ive never played yu gi oh before
Insane how much of a bubble it was. Like you said though, if it's something you will cherish forever and won't sell, doesn't matter. Realistically something will cause vintage cards to boom again in the future
I hope the card prices go up eventually. i love the game of pulling gems and holding on until I'm ready to let go at a nice price.
Majority of my yugioh and pokemon cards I've kept have crashed quite a bit, but I'm fine with that. Oddly enough one of my favorite cards of all time hasn't budged in price so always happy about that.
The one time I lost money on a card is when I didn't automatically sell a 1st ed Zoodiac Barrage when I pulled it back in 2017.
Can we get Ruxin to 150k subs? He really deserves it!
Many prices especially graded cards are in a speculation bubble, no way people would have bought at those prices without expecting them to go higher.
I'm glad the cards are starting to go down in price and fix themselves, makes it more affordable for most collectors buy again
Thank you for opening these cards for us! The collection is still incredible
I actually made plus on the 22 tin, so that felt pretty neat :)
I really don't mind if cards sell for less, that's how market works. Like with all investments, you just have to know when to stop holding onto stuff.
Wow that Gaia looks amazing.
Still sitting on a DDS BEWD and a Ghost Rare Rainbow Neos...hoping prices go back uppppp
I started getting back into Yugioh a couple months back with a purchase of 1 2021 tin and luckily i got crossout designator out of it. Thank god i sold it before the prices crash because now crossout from 2021 tin are not worth much :)
getting back into the hobby so don't mind the prices going down but eventually they'll go back up
I swear I’m checking every minute waiting for you to reach 150k for that every pack opening video smh
It would be cool if you made a video of your top 25 most expensive sealed yugioh product. Not sure if you already have, but it would be great to see your sealed collection.
lets go!!! honestly not worried about the card market this isn't the first time this is happening am sure it will get back to normal soon.....and i too need to re-evaluate my collection
The bit about church reminds me of trading team rocket cards at church on the bus, i was holding onto thousands of dollars and I didnt even know lol
It sucks that the market is down so much, but it also gives me a chance to pick up some cards for good deals. I think it will go back up
I remember over ten years ago I got in some weird trade that I dont even remember; a Red Eyes B. Metal Dragon along with Metalmorph, both from the Yugioh Forbidden Memories game. Of course those cards were never played because, well, they just aren't good on a competitive format yet I somehow didn't managed to trade/sell them for some reason (nobody wanted them xD). Then I stoped playing and over ten years passed, just a few months ago I found them in pristine condition and was quite surprised of their current value... I sold them asap xD
It's hilarious because back then I would had accepted almost anything for them and still didn't manage to trade them.
I made a quite some money from that :)
Even for this PSA stuff it is not guaranteed for their prices to go up. You really have to pick the right ones if you wanna make money on it. Very cool idea to compare those prices btw.
I love these price analyzing videos.
Card market is always going up and down, i like when stuff goes down as a buyer. Its just really nice when i can build multiple decks for a good price.
its nice if the price is going down for players to finish the decks but for collector its a punch :D pros and cons everywhere
Great video again! I am not really invested in the collectors card market so I personally don´t care to much about it but the development of the card values is interessting non the less.
