For Rondo being a PG, his primary categories would be Points, Assists, and Rebounds. Each of these he has scored in double digits multiple times.
Which is the definition of consistency. Your " opinion " of Rondo is manufactured by talking heads from media who don't actually watch and understand basketball, they just find the latest buzzwords and make articles that will get them views.

At his best, I think it's hard for anyone who loves basketball not to love Rondo. Only Paul rivals him on defense as a PG, nobody passes like him, he probably has the best vision in the NBA, and when he's hungry and plays aggressive, he's unstoppable. Some of what he does is just magic

Why Rondo is looking like vintage Rondo is because coach Karl is actually letting Rondo run the show. In dallas Rondo didn't have 100% ball handling duties he had to play off ball a lot & let a shooting guard in Monta Ellis run the show. Just like in Boston where Rondo got to be the primary ball handler, hes going to flourish in any team that lets he be the primary ball handler

To me it's just funny how a coach like Carlisle would know the kind of PG he's getting, and then try to put him in such a tiny box. I was so excited that my fave player was headed to the Mavs. It didn't work out and I do admit R9 could have behaved better, but at least now he's in a better position. Great video!

They got some good talent, a good coach in Karl who unlike certain coaches (cough cough carlisle cough)works his system around the players he has, and since theyre in the west, he'll have motivation in matching up with an elite PG every night pretty much.
Rondo has been one of my favorite players in the league, but I cringe when he has to take free-throws. Why can't he just make them?
i think the worst thing he erver did was try to fix his ft shooting. 61,63,65% isn't great, but i could live with it. i mean it isnt bad if he's gettin 8 or 10 attempts a game right? he's still hitting 5 or 6. Now since he started tryin to "fix" it he can't shoot them at all.

The media & it's supporters persecute, oppress & devalue athletes like him simply because of the hue of their skin or they're not white. Nitpicking at any and everything.
