Retired police officer. I’ve worked dozens of fatal accident scenes. I can’t recall one where the drunk driver was the one who died. Can’t understand why officers allowed her to scream and act like a total asshole instead of throwing her in a patrol car.
She calls, screaming that her sister is dead, hangs up on 911 instead of giving the location, then screams at the cops that it's THEIR fault her sister is dead because they took too long to get there. What a maniac.
she was likely in shock. i've heard a lot of stories of people calling 911 and just being so dazed that they can't think straight, can't grasp the urgency of the situation, can't understand what was going on, all of that
You should have (please don’t) watched the livestream and the one just before it. They were horrifying. I’ve never seen any of this info about it before and I’m freaking retraumatized thinking about how out of her mind, psychotic, and completely psychopathic she (seemed) was in them. Spare yourself, but it would rock you to the core if you had. 😰
That 911 call bru. She sounds like she doesn't care. "Im drunk asf, and my sister just fell out the back window!" I would be crying like a toddler if one of my siblings died due to my stupidity.
She doesn’t care. Her act when the cops get there was entirely performative. She’s all of a sudden freaking out over her sisters death but is still dropping the typical “Wuh, you gonna pepper spray me?” Kind of lines. “Have you ever had a sister die? No.” She’s a brat, she’s unhinged, she’s very dumb, she killed her sister, and she doesn’t care.
This is why when these idiots are on a social media live stream driving they should INSTANTLY be PERMANENTLY BANNED from the platform. They are so quick to remove the footage AFTER THE FACT but when people are openly breaking the law and endangering lives nothing is done.
Instead there should be an additional charge where social media was involved especially in cases where it’s blatantly obvious that the person was more concerned with said social media than the person they injured or killed
Made the mistake of wathcing the unblurred video...the way she treated her poor sister after the crash was absolutely disgusting. Filming her deceased as she curses at her and rolls her around...this girl deserves life in prison

Seen the original livestream just now. It’s a sad thing to watch, she was not only live-streaming but didn’t place one hand on the wheel(she was driving with her knee). Towards the end of the video she shows her sister, she attempts to fix her skull saying “I didn’t mean to kill you, I love you, wake up.” It was truly heart breaking. Even more so knowing her birthday was the next day.
Not only did this woman not give a sh*t about her sister literally dying while calling the police, she couldn't understand that SHE killed her and was more concerned about how her parents were going to view her rather than their daughter being dead. 6 years is disgraceful.
Absolutely! I’m so sick of this “protect the criminals and give them infinite chances while telling the victims to sit down and shut up” mentality. In the US victims of violent crimes are treated like they’re the monsters for wanting justice, while violent criminals are treated like saints and heroes.
I remember this case. She was high on drugs, driving recklessly. It was a day before her little sister’s quinceañera and Lil’ sis didn’t have her seatbelt on. Also, her parents didn’t blame her for her actions and didn’t think she deserved prison time.
@@Deliar12 Yeah I remember her dad being interviewed and saying he forgave her right away and didn’t think she deserved to be punished because she didn’t mean to kill her sister because it was just an accident. I can’t even imagine having to cope with my actions if I had just killed my siblings. She made a stupid choice and it cost her dearly. Hopefully she can find peace with her decisions.
The way my jaw DROPPED hearing that not only was she sentenced to 6 years, but that she also got out early. Our 'system' is a joke. There's more justice in Call of Duty against cheaters and that's just pathetic. Being older than my sister, I can't even IMAGINE putting my sister into a situation where she'd even possibly break a bone, let alone lose her life.
I remember when this happened, I live in Fresno and it was all over the news and Facebook. She live streamed it. Showed her sister's dead body and face. It was disturbing
With every vid..ya keep saying..wow, that was the worst I've seen yet. Until you come across this one. Livestreamed killing her own sister. That's one sick evil pup right there. Couldve use a priest along with law enforcement.
No, even better, she should live with the judge and become their responsibility once released and they can deal with firsthand why she belongs behind bars.
Judges have to follow the judicial code. If they gave a sentence beyond what's in the code it would allow her to appeal and start the whole process over again.
She was paroled in 2019, and arrested only a couple months later after fleeing police when they attempted to pull her over for a vehicle code violation. A male suspect fled from the car after she crashed it, and they found a handgun in the car as well.
I’ve seen the full uncensored version. It was leaked years ago. It is so chilling to see what our culture has done to that generation. Cold blooded, cold hearted. She literally live stream her dead sister.
I initially though maybe she was under shock. But after I heard what she kept doing and what she posted after she was released the first time I guess she's just a messed up sociopath.
It's devastating how drunk drivers seem to hurt everyone around them more than they hurt themselves when they're the ones making the decision to drive intoxicated
They can't give people like this long sentences or else they might run out of room for nonviolent drug offenders, and we can't have that. War on DrugsTM and all.
Guaranteed she took a plea deal. Prosecutors get a conviction under their belt, judge doesn't have to deal with a lengthy murder trial and jurys and all that nonsense.
So, she served less than 2 years, and was quickly arrested again after leading cops on a chase with handguns in her car (at least one gun, but I believe a couple?)... She has OBVIOUSLY learned her lesson.
I was in a very similar car accident when I was 19 years old. My best friend at the time was at the wheel. We were drinking, we had no business driving anywhere. As we sped down a country gravel road going130km (speed limit was 50) my friend inevitably lost control, swerved off the road, the car flipped 3 times through a farmer's fence. Just like in this crash. There were also 3 of us in the vehicle. I have had severe chronic pain in my neck from the injuries I sustained as well as some nerve damage. My friend broke her hands and wrists and got severe whiplash, the guy in the back got some glass in his eye and severe whiplash but we all survived because we were wearing seatbelts. Thank God we were all belted. No one would have survived if we weren't. Until that point, I didn't always wear a seatbelt. I never ever forget to anymore, no matter how short the trip. I would also never ever get into a car with someone who has been drinking.
Yea, thats the thing, I know a lot of people still hate seatbelts because you don't need them until you crash, but its important to always have them on for those very reasons, because when an accidetn happens its usually out of nowhere. I have an uncle that never wears a seatbelt, and always used to tell my mom "Don't worry, if I lose control of the vehicle, I'll just reach for the seatbelt really quick" and that just doesnt sound right at all. I will say, Props to you guys. Despite the fact you were wreckless enough to drive drunk, you were still smart enough to wear a seatbelt. Thankfully it was only you and your car that got hurt and you didn't end up taking out any other vehicles along the way.
I remember seeing this live stream before it was taken down, it was horrific. The video of her moving her sister's broken body and lifting her opened head will never leave my memory
She did a YEAR of prison time. As someone who lives in California I can tell you that they don't give a damn about victims here anymore. It's positively disgusting that she got six years and will out in three or less. I was the victim of a violent crime and the guy who attacked me was put on probation and let out of jail. He absconded the day he got out and even though I have an order of protection against him, they won't give me any information about whether or not they found him or know where he is because in California criminals have strict "privacy rights".
All I hear is how bad it is and things should change but I don't get who made the millions of votes to elect their government? You are just getting what you asked for
I’ve seen the full unedited video. She gives several close ups of her lifeless sister and grabs her multiple times, shaking her, telling her to “wake up” before flatly announcing to everyone “I just killed my sister. She’s dead. This is the last thing in the world I wanted to happen but, it did.”
@authorcole I wondered the same thing, especially after the post at the cemetery. It said, "Credit Flowers: Mom" or something like that implying their mom did the flowers. Where was she when her daughter was trafficked? Then the group homes. Where was their dad? A terrible, devastating tragedy.
I've also seen the unedited video and I will tell you one thing... I have never been able to forget it. It's something that's just imprinted into your psyche. It was horrific and even more disturbing the way she was beating on her sister's body to wake up. I'm no lawyer but this person should not be out a secured facility because if she could, I think she would drive drunk again.

She doesn’t care. Her act when the cops get there was entirely performative. She’s all of a sudden freaking out over her sisters death but is still dropping the typical “Wuh, you gonna pepper spray me?” Kind of lines.

This is why when these idiots are on a social media live stream driving they should INSTANTLY be PERMANENTLY BANNED from the platform.
They are so quick to remove the footage AFTER THE FACT but when people are openly breaking the law and endangering lives nothing is done.
banned from the platform is meaningless in the bigger picture

Towards the end of the video she shows her sister, she attempts to fix her skull saying “I didn’t mean to kill you, I love you, wake up.” It was truly heart breaking. Even more so knowing her birthday was the next day.
Not only did this woman not give a sh*t about her sister literally dying while calling the police, she couldn't understand that SHE killed her and was more concerned about how her parents were going to view her rather than their daughter being dead. 6 years is disgraceful.

Judges have to follow the judicial code. If they gave a sentence beyond what's in the code it would allow her to appeal and start the whole process over again.

She did a YEAR of prison time. As someone who lives in California I can tell you that they don't give a damn about victims here anymore.
