I love to see San Antonio to build taller buildings downtown meaning 60 stories buildings and a rail system I always thought a monorail system than a light rail.

I work for Rackspace. We didn't move out of San Antonio, at all. Y'all got it backwards: Rackspace moved out of Austin. Rackspace is still very much here in SA, we're just moving office buildings. Y'all might want to correct that in your video.

      Hey Kris ,
Thanks for the information and perspective . Definitely still some positions here in SA, but they don’t have the huge corporate footprint that they used to have in San Antonio for many years (downsizing from a 1.2 million sq ft office to a 100k sq ft office). We also know that a large majority of the employees were let go, as they outsourced the positions to different countries or other departments were sold off to other companies. This info is coming directly from several people we know who either worked at Rackspace And were let go due to these layoffs and/or still currently work for you guys and have worked for them for over 10 years.
The part in our video you are referencing is to discuss huge / major corporations that are responsible for a large amount of employment, and because of the layoffs and downsizing , Rackspace just doesn’t compare to the other places we referenced (USAA, security service , etc.)
Thanks for taking the time to check out our video . Take care

You forgot Fiesta Texas, SeaWorld, the 82 mile Howard Peak Green trail system that rings the san Antonio. Although you mentioned UTSA, you failed to mention that UTSA football has 20+, 30K at their football games. UIW is also a large private university with an FCS D1 football team. Other Universities here: Texas A&M San Antonio, St Mary's University and Law School, Our Lady of the Lake University - not to mention UT Health (the Medical & Dental School) as well as UIW's School of Osteopathic Medicine, UIW School Optometry and UIW Pharmacy School. Northwest Vista & San Antonio Junior College also have over 16K Students each. One more thing, Torchy's is good but it's not Tacos, it's fusion - Good Tex-Mex is available at just about any corner in the San Antonio area. Good BBQ places abound as well: Blanco BBQ, BBQ Station, Smoke Shack.

My city of San Antonio ! We have the mega mansions and everything else that Austin has ( well not there night life but it’s still good here ) and accept the tall builders do ordinance restrictions for the river walk that are being totally lifted now . . Skyscrapers will be coming soon to SA.

Great video! Very helpful as I was thinking about these two places in TX too. By the way, would you be able to do a video on 2A/firearms in San Antonio? I'm guessing San Antonio is more "gun friendly" than Austin and maybe most other big cities in TX just based reputations, especially as a military city, but I could be wrong. I'm hoping to move to TX in the near future from CA where gun laws are super restrictive and 2A rights under attack. Thanks in advance for any thoughts!

Why you going to give the entertainment and activities to Austin where in San Antonio you have more to do with family like the amazing SA:Zoo, Six Flags: Fiesta, Sea World and the huge nice water park Atlantica. You guys forgot to mention that in this video😂 lol.

SA definitely has entertainment going for itself, but I still dont think it compares to Austin. For sure, SA is a family town and it has the edge over Austin there.

Two hour drive for austin...i can be at the beach or the bay in two hours, and im in the middle of nowhere California. Austin agents make it seem like san antonio is right next door. Just letting ya know that san antonio still has more clout than austin in most of California. Bigger city and alamo. Nobody cares about acl, f1, etc. Dont undersell yourselves. Take care.
