17th September 2012. Two FGW Turbos pass each other near Royal Oak as spoil from the Crossrail tunnel is sent along the conveyor to the point where it is unloaded onto freight trains.
A few days later a failure of the spoil unloader led to a temporary shutdown of the Tunnel Boring Machines and a revised method of transporting spoil from the tunnel onto the freight trains in Westbourne Park sidings.
