@@TheSiameseDreamer I agree. She didn’t play the chorded parts correctly, they’re not barre chords, they’re root-3rd-octave 3rd chords, except for the A which is X-0-11-9-10-X. And her tone was not even close. Literally any op amp muff will get you much much closer than she got. I don’t know why she had that overdrive on too, it sounded awful.
Great cover of a great song - also emphasizes how important the bassline and the drums are in this song. While the guitar lays down the melody it's the drums that drive it forward.
Great cover! I've played the main riff for years, finally getting round to learning the solo... Do you realise, of all the cover/tutorial CZcams videos of the cherub rock solo yours is the most accurately sounding one! You should do a tutorial!!
I forgot how unique and inspired that solo. In my mind I had placed some of the 'cool factor' on the effects, but even without, the notes and phrasing definitely make it a one of a kind memorable solo.
