Good to see a wild camper pitching the tent in a sensible location, sheltered
Wind is great,on a hot summer day otherwise it kinda wrecks a good night sleep.Nice camp, great spirit
Nothing better than eating well on a camp. Great video 👍
Great food and camp too😊😊😊
Thanks 🙂
Really enjoyed that Steve... you'll get better at cooking, don't worry 😂❤
😅
Looks like a great camp 👍
A great video Steve, new subscriber here! quick question as I have the same tent... do you go middle pole 1st then have the 2 longer ones going over the middle pole... or go the longer poles 1st with the middle pole over? I hear so many different ideas which is best. As I remember Hilleberg say to go middle. pole 1st... atb
Thank you for watching and the sub, it's much appreciated 👍not entirely sure on the correct sequence for the poles. I always put the long ones in first, then the middle one under the two. Has been working great for me. atb 🙂
@@stevehayesadventures7005 Yeah as I remember Hilleberg say the middle pole under the two longer poles mate. atb
Great camp and that food 👌
Thank you for watching & the kind comment... I've subbed to your channel 👍
@@stevehayesadventures7005 No problem... Oh thanks! The lads will be chuffed haha. Cheers (we've subbed to yours too).
Moody weather, nice vid pal. Think I'm due a new Skillet aswell 😅 👍
Thanks for watching 👍 I recommend the jet boil Skillet
JB skillet is a great piece of kit, expensive, yes, but if you look after it it'll last years...... the non-stick coating is 2nd to none. You only need a tiny bit of oil in it, if any, for cooking. Nice upload, very atmospheric soundtrack of the wind
running through it. ATB
Thank you.. I totally agree with you the Skillet was excellent.. the wind sound was coming from the wall I was next to ...totally real.. actually sounded worse than it was.. 👍
Living like a king mate. Aye dock tarn is a bog fest
Thanks for watching buddy 👍 yeah it was definitely boggy
Great video mate! Very entertaining. What stove is that by the way? I see the SOTO pot and I'm a big fan of the Japanese brand, having a few of their stoves myself. Thanks for sharing the experience.
Thanks buddy 👍... the stove is just a cheap one of amazon... it's not bad, but could be a bit lighter though.
@stevehayesadventures7005 right, I think i might have one the same in the garage. Just wanted to check I hadn't missed something new from SOTO. You know what it's like once you start buying kit mate, it NEVER stops does it!! 🤣🤣🤣
@stevehayesadventures7005 I've subbed you mate. I'll check out some more of your videos over this weekend 👍
Thank you for the support buddy.. I've also subbed your channel too and will be checking it out.. 👍
@stevehayesadventures7005 legend! Thanks mate much appreciated 👍
Oh Steve! No seasoning for the steak! Unsubscribed! 😂 Morrison's do some good quality produce. Their sausage rolls are great!
Look liked a nice peaceful camp mate.
🤣 I'm ashamed Mark... I was gutted I forgot it... and a plate.. too excited to use my new Skillet I guess 😅. Thanks for the comment and watching buddy 👍
Steve im new but G'day from Melbourne Australia just a quick question was that Diet Coke with the Captain Morgan's??
Yep.... diet Coke.. 😀 thanks for watching 👍
By the way your Jet Boil Skillet is bloody good price here its around $116-00s
Wow that's a bit steep...
Had exactly the same problem with the sea to summit mat. They sent me a replacement, but I sold it on straight away as didn’t trust it after all the issues I’d had with it.
So it's a common problem ... did you have any issues getting a replacement? Think I'd probably do the same.. what mattress did you go for in the end?
Don’t know if it’s common, but kept getting punctures on the top which is where you don’t expect it! They replaced it without any issue. Been using thermarests ever since and got a Big Agnes. No problems with either.
👍👍🔥
