Listening to your review and tear down of Krila now. Later today usps says I should be getting my Hi-Fri Aphex iem set in. Epic day, a review tear down, and a set crafted by him. YES..!!
Lol. If you saw my opinion of them you'll definitely know I didn't take any money. I trashed the Krilla. I'm probably one of the only people who said they really didn't like them.
@@kamrankambang7953 the Mei sounds warmer, more natural and spacious. The Krila sounds pretty dry, colder, not so organic and sometimes a bit harsh in the upper mids. Soundstage is narrower too but the technicalities are otherwise good for the price, they're a bit analytical indeed.
Man my unit will arrive tmorrow i cant wait. Edit after 3 hours listening and testing the tuning. This iem is impressive. Maybe i dont know better but the tuning switch will cater lots of taste. If the ba timber annoys you can try ON the 4th switch. It reduce the treble. 1 2 3depends on how bassy you want your set. I personaly put 1 2 ON and 3 4 OFF. Its almost like a planar detail with DD bass. Just my untrained ears opinion. I recomend this for first time iem buyers friends to find their taste. Those who put the switch 4 ON will likely love planars. Those who put on 1 2 3 might be a basshead.
I usually collect the upper budget ones with higher configurations like the 5 + 5 BA drivers, and the newest one KZ ZAR with 1DD + 7 BA on each side. This new Krila was in my next curiosity list, thinking they might have done something special in it. But if they are just the same drivers that are used in ZAR minus the 6 BAs on each side, then it might not be a good choice because usually I end up not using the one with less clarity. What do you think? Should I go for this category after using the ZAR level IEMs? Edit:- You could have tried to check what sound difference does it make by pushing the BA inside the nozzle, like you said, before breaking it entirely.
I did try it with the other ear, there was no real difference, I also removed the BA entirely and it sounded better but lacked extension. Sounded wayyyy more normal though. No I don't recommend these, I would much rather recommend ZVX, D-fi, EDXC, PR2. Also CCA DUO just dropped so I would definitely check that out.
Will adding an extra mesh filter on top of the existing one on the nozzle fix any of the timbral issues and graininess from the BA? Or if digital EQing would fix it with a High-shelf filter?
I never like this on the noozle.because if you sweat they will block with wax. I have experience on that. But I can't place a sponge dumper inside when same drivers have a ba in the nozzle. My question is. Where can I buy this paper tuning filters.? If you can give me a name. Because I looked for. Could not find it.
What do you think is better? The KZ ZSN Pro, KZ EDX Pro, or KZ Krilla? (I have all three, but only the Krilla is setup rn. The others are stored away.) Thank you.
Hi Hi-Fri! Maybe you can also do a review and teardown of the KZ AS24? There are a couple of reviewers that are saying that this is a very well-tuned all-BA iem. Hope you can take a look at this. Thank you very much for the work you do for the hobby♥🔥
Yeah so Krilla is either 4.7mm or 5mm and PR2 is either 3.7 or 4mm. There is no 4.9mm, but there might be a 4.2mm although I'm pretty sure 4.3mm is the next size.
These might be non favourite to music lovers who used to bass & low treble but these are best gaming iem at this price, cuz the hardware they used is very advanced
tips play a big role with these, triple flanges sound great on them. the ba timbre is minimized while bass has a stronger rumble. i set my switches to 1230. the bass is very good on this set.
@@hi-friaudioman awts too bad. they like released it before mei and kse, but they're limited edition. hope you'd check that out. It would be cool to see it's drivers😅.
Both use the same driver but Krilla has a nasty sounding BA and timbre mismatch/tuning issues. If you want a good DD/BA iem you should go for CVJ Nami. It's much better than Krilla, although it's more expensive. $30 on AliExpress.
Lol Dude says Dfi is better than Krila lmao At that point I knew he’s just a garbage person with a mic and video to record. My problem with dfi is that it has no bass but Krila fixed that with bass quality and quantity Then comes detail retrieval and technicalities man Krila kills dfi and this fool is saying get the dfi Such an pathetic idiot disregarding this amazing IEM that sounds like this for 17 bucks. I’ve lots of expensive IEM and Krila is more resolving and detailed than most of them which is insane
@@milkyway6080 my one, the last BA switch does nothing at all. I have a measurement rig and confirmed this, absolutely nothing. The first three switches do work on the bass though.
Bro that nozzle filter is made up of cloth it clogs up very easily i have KZ EDX Ultra CRA and CRA+ all of them clogged up i had to replace with cotton and Some spare filters from other earphones this is trash honestly kz should give metal nozzles or foam filter
It's more or less the nozzle size, not the material. If they use a 5mm nozzle it will give you much longer use time without clogging but your case is very rare. If you're having clogging issues with those iem's I would absolutely avoid ZVX, D-FI or any of their metal iem's.
@@hi-friaudioman I'm buying ZVX over Krila Because The Filter of Krila CRA CRA+ or EDX Ultra always gets clogged up Metal filter in ZVX is pretty good and tuning wise it seems decent

I love the tunning of Krilla. The sound is more natural than KZ ASx, SZ10 Pro or Tinhifi T5. Ive love them.
Yeah they started tuning their iems very natural, zvx has almost same charts as 7hz zero.

KZ doing some good stuff, at least they can compete in the 20 dollar range. The krilla and zvx, and edx ultra, I think are all pretty good.
