Thanks for the tour...Grad'd from Denny HS, and have visited Stirling Castle many times....always got my mushroom soup and hiked it up there.....thanks for the memories.....now live in Watertown NY.....but I have to see home again!
Dear Andy, , your videos gave me the incentive to go on my Scotland trip over the last 5 days and I went to Stirling as well as Balquhidder, walked up on Creag on Tuirc. But I gave Stirling castle a miss as there were masses of busses and cars already at 10.30 am... Many thanks for your truly inspiring videos :-)
As the palace opened 2012, i would love to see your video on it. Is worth the visit. I'm there 5 days of the week sometimes 6, very early in the morning the sunrises you get from the castle esplanade are amassing.
I had a little chuckle watching this. I never leave my camera at home and my wife tends to be in most of the shots to add that little extra touch just like this video. I loved it, well done. It has given me some inspiration as my videos have only ever had music.
Nice video, Andy. In 2014 the Bannockburn Heritage Centre and Wallace Monument re-open after refurbishment, and the Burgh is host to Pipefest, various Homecoming events, Bloody Scotland and Paranormal Scotland. I lead people around the Old Town on the Stirling GhostWalk (more of that on my channel), and I'm always glad to see people trumpeting the glories of the Old Town area. Well done, sir.
@babychicken9531 I think it was July, it doesn't snow then and you don't get frost, but everything else is possible. Rain is quite common and when its cloudy it can be quite cool
nice to see some of my handiwork. Lol. The hanging signs at the entrance were made by my very own fair hands ☺ Have you ever filmed in and around the jail ? I did a lot of work within the jail. i.e.. cell doors, torture instruments and balls and chains. Brings back a few memories.
we visited Stirling castle in June 2014 its wonderful would love to go back.
two kiwis.

Thank you very much for this beautiful video. It reminds me of my first staying in Scotland in this year. I love Scotland and I love Stirling Castle!

Can you tell me what the music is Andy?
Great job Andy, what camera did you use.
It looks rather chilly, what time of year was you visit? I'm planning a holiday in July and want to dress appropriately.
Looking at with Bach.

And very attractive they are to - didn't have time to see the rest of your work - hopefully the next time
Love the music! Who is singing?
Midnight Sail by Dean Landon & Caron Nightingale
There is a lady following you.... haha
This is Scotland not England.
nice vid but it was a Jacobite Rising Not a rebellion :)
@coolrunnings1021 - Stirling Bagpipes, 8 Broad Street, Stirling - just off the main street up to the castle
a real castle, no a toy town fort like embra.
