I call this a "tracing" because I'm doing my best to play exactly on top of the existing parts, using the midi keyboard to copy the sound of the instrument: keyboard, bass, drums, vocals.
It's super fun and I'm learning a lot and getting a better ear! At the end of the video I show where I've been tracing a recording of a song from the Rennaisance to work on learning that language too!
