Nice build. You did an excellent job on this kit. I like the color too! I agree with you on the fuel tanks, the seam in the chrome is just too much to ignore. Once again, awesome work!
A tutorial on the assembly and painting of this model would be invaluable for modelers. I have this model in queue, but as I am dedicated to armored vehicles that use other techniques, I have been waiting to find guidance to achieve something like this.
You said the wheels were a little quirky, I agree. You can order some moebius wheels that will fit and look perfect for that truck and the Kenworth aerodyne also. I love the color and the way you did the decals. You can use duplicolor primer paint and clear coat does an excellent realistic look for models also. Sharp truck.
@@ericsmodelgarage Great!! I forgot to mention the sheets of polystyrene plastic also. You can make custom drop visors for those trucks too. They don't come with visors.
Well cummin engines would be Red Detroit engines would be a pale green and caterpillars yellow at least most Peterbilt had either a Detroit or caterpillar engines while Most Kenworths came with a Cummins
I suppose you could order a custom color for your Cat engine but I only ever saw white and yellow, never tan. Peterbilt seemed to hang on to the white colored engines a bit longer than Kenworth and others that switched to yellow in the early to mid eighties.
That's a very clean build of a nice Revell kit. I like the blue and chrome contrast.

Thank you! I appreciate the kind words👍
Well done Eric! Shari looking rig! Thanks for the video 😎👍
Cummins came in tan white and red… very nice build
Thanks, Chris! Appreciate the info on the engine colors👍
Love to see your builds please do more.
Thank you! I've got several going on now actually.
Thank you very much.
That is an awesome shade of blue. Well done. Haven't built a big rig in a very long time. I really need to rectify that.
Thank you for the kind words. I would definitely recommend this kit. It's well detailed and assembles very nicely
Great video for your first one.
Thank you!
Like the tanks painted
👍👍
Drove a Peterbilt 359 that had a Caterpillar 3406A that was white. I also drove them with 3406B's that were yellow.
Nice looking rig. Well done.

I'm wanting to do a full video build at some point. I appreciate the feedback. This would be a good one to do as it is a fairly simplistic build.
Good looking 359 Eric, keep up the good work!
Thank you for the kind words THROTTLEPOWER!

Yeah, I really wasn't sure, so I just went with the box art/instruction sheet. Thanks for watching!

peterbilt painted all there motors white it was there thing for years .
Amazing look Eric.

Does this have the water pump and steering shaft
No steering shaft. I believe there is a water pump. The engine is quite nicely detailed for a lower end kit
That testors paint?
It's Nason automotive fast dry acrylic enamel. No clear
