Just got this today after using the K380 for a year and a half. Loved the K380 and currently adjusting to this.
Only thing I disliked about these logi keyboards is that they always allocate the device buttons on 3 separate keys, instead of just using 1 button to cycle between devices.
Yeah I'm testing some other keyboards and they use sliding switches on the side or build it in to keys by pressing FN at the same time. I absolutely love this keyboard and the key travel on it but if F1 and F2 were screen brightness it would be 100% perfect. I remapped f6 and f7 to brightness but its definitely confusing compared to my laptop keyboard.
Awesome vid. I just purchased one of these last week n I'm loving it so far. Coming from the Logitech k380, which was also a good keyboard, the mx keys mini is a good upgrade with sleek looks that goes with any set up one has.
I need to check the K380 out sometime. I had the K480 at one point and didn't like it. felt too plastic and like a toy.
@@adamtalkstech it's a nice entry level keyboard. I like that there's different colors. I had the graphite with the 3 yellow buttons. I miss it, but the MX keys mini is awesome.
There is a difference in latency on this keyboard and the mx master 3s mouse. using the logi bolt or bluetooth per connection? or is it almost imperceptible? I'm worried about my USB management :D

I am considering to buy Logitech MX Keys Mini for the office to work on PC and maybe to pair it with Apple TV or iPhone.
This one because I have MacBook Air and like laptop-like keys.
But I don't understand why to use this (or any other keyboard) ON the MacBook? MacBook has a perfect keyboard so why not to go with the original instead of using something that "provides a similar experience"??
First of all, it's an excellent keyboard. I bought the black color. A lot of people (me included) sometimes put my MacBook Air on an upright stand so that it's elevated and more like a desktop machine, just for the extra space. In that instance, this Logitech Mini keyboard comes in extremely handy, along with an auxiliary mouse or trackpad, whichever you prefer. The backlighting on this keyboard is absoltutely amazing too, turning on and off the lights with the simple proximity of your hands. I have never regretted this purchase; I still am searching for a really nice case for it though. I wish Logitech sold one.

Since you already have a Logitech Keys Mini, I'd like to ask for your opinion, which is preferable, Keys or Mechanical Mini?
I am not asking about the typing feeling/experience, which is a personal preference, but regarding the Logi Bolt receiver which the Mechanical Mini includes but Keys Mini doesn't. Is it a big deal having or not having the Logi Bolt? Thank you
@@marinaalex0510 Mechanical keys are too noisy, in my opinion. I’ve never had a connectivity problem using blue tooth, and so for me, not having the Logi Bolt is not worrisome. Probably not included since most people just toss them out anyway.
Denny nailed it with explaining the ergonomic setup. I'm preferring the keys mini to the mechanical mini, I like the quieter faster feel.
I bought the MX Keys Mini and used it for just a month and it suddenly goes haywire! The backlights keeps on blinking like crazy even when I'm not touching it! So annoying that I gave it away to my friend and bought the Apple Magic Keyboard. For my own point of view, I personally felt that the Apple Magic Keyboard is much comfortable to use though......

@@adamtalkstech it’s much more easier for me to type. Much more fluid typing. When I use my MX Keys Mini, I always typed wrong letters. But if I’m using the Magic Keyboard, I seldom type wrong letters. I felt much easier. Anyway I’m using Mac mini with it so it’s good. But for my mouse I’m using the MX Ergo trackball mouse. Many people also having the same backlights issue as me. U can check on CZcams and see for yourself. Guess u are one of the lucky ones that doesn’t get the faulty set. But many gets the faulty set though. It’s super annoying. I wanted to break it into 2 pieces and throw it away. I get very angry. But since my friend wants it, so I gave it to him. It’s a good keyboard though. Just my luck that I got a trash one…..
key lock light?
Caps Lock light? That keyboard looks like it could be an update to the K810, which I am currently using. Is it alunimum? If it's anything like my K810, it should pair nicely via Bluetooth with an Android device. Currently using it with my Galaxy Z Fold 4 and LG V20. No dongle required.
Also using a Microsoft Bluetooth mouse 3600, with left-handed orientation.

Do I HAVE to connect this with bluetooth or can I only use the cable and keep it plugged in all the time?
Has to use Bluetooth or a bolt receiver. You can keep it plugged in though.
does the lock keys on the top right corner enables the lock screen similar to the Mac keyboard?
Yes if you hold function

No. And it isn't compatible with a unifying receiver but with a Logi bolt. Or connected via Bluethooth
