Dude, glad I checked before replacing the ignitor which is the common problem on a lot of ovens I'm asked to look at. This video led me directly to the issue! Thank you very much for this info. The maintenance guys removed oven to put linoleum down on top of old flooring (looks and feels like trash), and when they put oven back in kitchen they didn't know about this kill switch either lol

We had a power outage here this morning and it made my gas stove and oven not work after fiddling around with this Stove Top and looking on the internet was able to fix stovetop, thank you so much had no clue about this oven, I was used to kenmore Electric and just moved into new place with frigidaire gas range, felt so helpless as I called the power company to let them know my gas stove won't work because of the power outage and they couldn't help me that I would have to contact a servicemen
Really? it was power outage figured there had to be something to reset on this range, , but thanks to you and your video you posted I was able to get my gas oven working again worked Awesome thank you so much, and I too like the way you just get to the point on your videos .

I used my oven last week and it worked perfect. Went to use it a few days ago and suddenly got the F31 code.
Gonna try your steps tomorrow.
1) Broil
2) High
3) Slide oven forward.
4) Flip switch
Hopefully it works. Fingers crossed

Replace the heat element. If it's not ignitor I suspect although it is testing good on your multimeter it may be internal. It has happened before 🙂

@@MoreThanMaintenance so you think even if the ignitor had continuity it could be bad still. Mine shows 236 for continuity. It never tries to glow at all. I hear the relay click when I turn the oven on but nothing happens. Safety valve had continuity too

I have a question? Do you keep the oven on when you switching the switch in the back? Or do you turn off when doing that. Also do you keep it on after that for awhile. I’m so nervous 😬 about doing it.

My lever wasn’t closed off, but I flipped it closed and then back on, and it worked. I’ll take it!

Question: The stove top lights up fire, the broiler lights up fire. The Oven turns orange at the bottom but does not create fire. I would think the gas is flowing because of the top and broiler lighting up. So should I still try and get behind it and reset that valve reset button thing?

My broiler and range top works but the oven does not. I can smell gas and Igniter is fine. Going to throw a dual gas valve at it. I think it's just not allowing enough pressure to the burner.

It's the temperature probe. You will have to ohm it out with your multimeter to see if it needs replace. Hope that helps 👍
