- Good morning, sweet friends and welcome to another Cook with Me video. In today's video, we are making a delicious, warm & cozy Fall brunch. We are making hashbrown casserole, biscuits and gravy, cheesy scrambled eggs and super moist pumpkin bread. I also topped it off with a yummy sparkling prosecco mimosa. Oh what a lucky family!!!! Eggs and cheese are my every morning go to breakfast. I love biscuits with butter and pumpkin bread with a schmear of cream cheese! But I live alone and can't be trusted with a whole can of biscuits.. haha I can't stop at one! Everything looked so delicious! I will have to try that hash brown casserole when I visit my family.

My mom taught me to add one teaspoon of sugar to my sausage gravy when it's done and just stir it in to dissolve. It makes a difference and you will like the extra something it adds to your gravy. It doesn't make the gravy taste sweet. I always add chocolate chips to my pumpkin bread. You should give it a try. I bet your children will love it. Your brunch looks delicious 😋

Loved the recipes. We call those Amish potatoes, exactly the same except I use chicken oven fry mix on top. And I bake on 325 for 1 1/2 hours. Delicious

Hello! I wonder if it’s a regional thing, the gravy you made is what we call a bechamel sauce with sausage! A gravy here would be a dark brown colour and made usually with the drippings from a roast meat! Looks great though :)
I found a recipe for pumpkin bread that was really moist too. It called for an overripe banana

I make the hash brown casserole and everyone loves it. Mine is just a little bit different, I use chopped green onions and Parmesan cheese, but always a hit.

Hash browns potatoes are just potatoes cut like that or is something more? Here in Romania we don't have that but I would like to try making them at home...
I do believe so! I'm sure you can look on Google or Pinterest for how to make hashbrowns from raw potatoes!
