Back again! I am still going over your beginner budgeting and do you have any tips for how to go between cash and electronic. I have like 3 checking accounts short story I had some fraud issues so now i have a primary deposit account and use the checking accounts as like holding for online purchases….
Fraud is not fun! I am sorry!
I keep my gas & groceries on my debit card. So when I do my budgets, I’ll combine what I use for gas and groceries all on one debit card. I also have a separate debit card and account for bills, so I’ll budget all my bills to that account. And then I have another separate card that I transfer my husbands “fun”/spending money to lol. I just try and keep everything as separated as I can. Kind of like electronic envelopes I guess.
Then I’ll take out cash for my sinking funds. I know you didn’t ask me lol but hope it helps to give you ideas!
I am sorry to hear about your fraud issues. I would suggest the biggest tip is to differentiate your accounts so you know what funds are for each account.
It’s nice to have once account for bills and one account for variable spending. You can withdraw your cash for things that your feel comfortable with (ex. Sinking funds)

Congrats Monet on the anniversary. Quick question/comment....I don't think that I have ever seen you stuff / take into consideration your side-hustle (CZcams/Etsy) finances into account. Is there any particular reason why/why not?
Thank you! I have stuffed my side income many times throughout my channel and I’ve shared that my YT income goes back into funding my channel so it’s not apart of my personal finances.
Congratulations on reaching your goal with your emergency found. I have a suggestion for the money on your emergency and house founds. The bank account for both is probably around 8K. That's a large amount of money doing nothing. Since money devaluated as time pass (inflation) it might be a good idea to invest this money or a big portion of it in an index found. Vanguard have some good oprions with small fees attached to them. It would be easy to access if you need it. It's one way to keep your buying power the same. I hope it makes sense I'm not very good at explaining.
