I'm a Goan. I've seen how domestic tourist litter, create mess in Goa unlike Russians who just socialise among their people. Russians flocking to goa is anyday better then UPites, Biharis flocking to Goa trust me.

I am a Goan and the Indian domestic tourists have spoiled Goa. In the 80s and 90s, tourism was good. We had family tourism, mostly foreigners.
Goa is located 4.5 thousand kilometers strictly (strictly!) South from the place in Western Siberia where I was born .... Birds from our city (seagulls and ducks) fly to winter in Goa - they were caught In Goa by German ornithologists & these ornithologists identified the rings - these birds were ringed in our city in Western Siberia during summer.
Are you From Russia? And by the way coming to those birds, yes as a citizen of Goa, I am aware of these birds which migrate here to Goa, India from Russia.

As a citizen of Goa, let me tell you, I have till date never seen a single Russian on beaches of Siridao but I have seen tons of foreigners (i.e Russian mostly, and some french etc) on the larger beaches like Vagator, Calangute etc. Goa is very famous for its beaches here.

@@shayandevi9870 Hello! Well coming to the issue of "Pr*stitution" than the answer is yes, it does happen but I personally don't hear a lot of cases about pr*stitution, it does happen but not to much from my POV. M*dia tends to exaggerate stuff at times.

My family visited Goa in the mid 80s before I was born along with a pair of American citizens. At the time it wasn't difficult to get tourist visas for Pakistanis.

it ultimately is good, we aren't xenophobic and this way we assimilate better, spread our soft power, UK and USA too are accommodative, we have such a successful diaspora there, we too can be accommodative, except to people who follow terror.

Dont mean to be xenophobic but drugs are bad and if the mafia is involved as it usually is, the last thing we want is a Narcos like situation anywhere in India. Goa because of it's poor law enforcement is usually a good hideout spot for criminals all over the world so this is concerning in the least
This should be asking 'Is Organized Crime in India good'? The answer for any nation should be no.
True from my experience. The amount of different "factions" of criminals in Goa is overwhelming. I´ve seen things there, most people will not even notice if they come for a 2 week vacation. Russian gangsters having beef with local mafia is pretty common, as well as local mafia attacking cops who won´t obey their rule. And then there´s the nigerian party and many more... plus a ton of people hiding there because they´re in trouble at home. I´ve seen and heard the craziest shit in my time in Goa, nothing came close so far.
It's not a big deal. With world becoming a small village and indian economy is getting bigger its natural that people from all over the world will come to india to setup business. Likewise we indian have also migrated to other countries.

I've been in Goa for a month now and it seems the vast majority of Russians here only want to be with each other. Engaging socially Goans and other nationalities is completely out of the picture for them.

The Only fear is Like The Portugese people who came in Goa around 16th century , Once they got comfortable in the state they started promoting Christianity Over the course of years they converted many Hindu's and Killed Thousands Of Indians who said no to conversion , Francis Xavier being a leader at that time . I am being a young guy from Konkani roots I heard all those stories from my uncle and it pains my heart , I wish the Russian will maintain a good discipline there and will enjoy responsibly .
