In this transcript, Arizona lawyers Julie Lebens and Billy Taurasio discuss the importance of self-representation in family court cases. They mention that legal fees can be very expensive, especially in cases that go on for a long time, and that gaining the knowledge and skills to effectively represent oneself can save thousands of dollars. The lawyers also mention their platform, called "Win Without Law School," which is aimed at helping people learn how to represent themselves in court and minimize legal fees. They discuss the topics they cover in their courses, including trial skills and how to handle difficult situations in court, and emphasize the importance of being well-prepared and organized in order to effectively represent oneself in a family court case.

The prior Judge "Cutrer" respected Due Process. I think any good Judge respects self-representation. Sadly, judges that make bad decisions based on hearing only 1 side early on w/a matter seem to throw the right to Due Process under the bus to save their butts. I hate the uncertain terms: "Absolute Judicial Immunity" (judges) & "Applied Immunity" (cops). They get away with discrimination & and then push their personal biases when they're supposed to be carefully following the law. It all seems like BS now.

I'm self representing in Yavapai county, civil for conversion and more. Although my case isn't family law, I've found it difficult to find limited scope help to proof my docs, validate I'm on the right track, etc. I've had federal pro se experience and recently successfully had a bad landlord win but this case against my evil ex is tough and Musgrove isn't exactly the opposing council of my dreams. Help!

I’m in a situation where I filed for a limited divorce but my husband is ignoring and not filing an answer. Now I filed for a default and we have a default hearing in Jan. Is there anything you can help me prepare for this? I’m representing myself because I don’t have the finances for an attorney

I looked at the Win Without Law School site but didn't see an option that applied to my goals - Severance of Parental Rights. Do you have a tailored option for that (abandonment)

My wife's last ex spent nearly $60k in legal fees and was awarded custody of their child. Our ex blindsided him by getting her newest husband, Jacob Wayne Furlow, a convicted methamphetamine dealer who had never met his child to file for ex parte custody. The child's mother was not even listed on this ex parte, yet the judge turned over ex parte custody to this monster. When we went to appeal the judge denied the appeal & refused to address any of the details.
