Hey! Real Roxstar registered nurse of 18 yrs here! Certain weight loss drugs have been FDA approved. They work great for people and have given those with chronic obesity hope. No one would tell a person with high blood pressure not take their medicine, so why tell people who have a diagnosis of chronic obesity not take medicine that may be life saving? Of course these medications will not work for everyone. That is just how it goes. The important thing to emphasize is that the people on these medications need to be followed closely by a physician and the medication needs to be adjusted or weaned off when necessary. There is a stigma that goes along with obesity and we all know it. I just would like everyone to view chronic obesity as they would any other illness and speak from an educated point of view when having these conversations. Lastly, if these drugs are making you sick, its time to reevaluate.
What I wish I had said in the video is I understand those who are chronically overweight taking the drug. The pros outweigh the cons. What I really mean is for someone like Oprah and Marlo, where neither is chronically overweight it doesn’t seem like a healthy option. But yes, those who would obviously benefit from their weight going down then by all means. For sure Marlo didn’t need to lose weight. She said it herself she wanted to fit sample size clothes (size 0)…in those types of cases people are taking advantage. And it’s a lot of that happening.

@@layna762 legally no, Kenya’s intent to shame has no legal consequence when the girl (I forgot her name lol) put it out on her own for public consumption at some point. Now if this was a private video…that’s another story.
I'm not a lawyer, but apparently no matter the public existence of the photographs/videos, it can still be illegal to release them in certain jurisdictions. If intimate photos are not released consensually & are exposed to cause harm, then Kenya could possibly still be in legal trouble in other words. What are your thoughts about that?

My students loans were forgiven recently. I literally had PTSD from the mental weight of that debt. I have never felt such an emotional release before. Over $70,000 gone. Just sign up for the forgiveness programs. Worse that could happen is they don't get forgiven. I was skeptical myself. I applied 2 years ago.

@@layna762 I am going to answer for her. Well, not for her but explain why I want MY LOANS forgiven. In short, the interest that is gained on these loans are beyond ridiculous. You have no idea when you apply for the original loan that the loan will most likely have quadrupled by the time you pay it off (in 30 years)...basically you can never get that thing paid down unless you are pay huge payments, otherwise the interest keeps it from moving down, and usually the amount goes up monthly. Hell if I was just paying on my oiriginal loan amount it wouldn't be as daunting. And we might as well also add that you are sold the American dream that you get the degree, you get the high paying job and then you make the money to make those huge loan payments. Except you don't necessarily get those high paying jobs. So...yes, in many ways student loans are a scam.
Kempire read a comment on his live from an attorney who said something to the effect of just because Corn was previously released doesn't necessarily protect the person who re-released it. With that said I would think that Kenya would have verified the legalities before releasing it, but then again, I swore there was no way she married Marc without a prenup and boy, was I wrong. 🤭

Just had this convo about student loans & taxes. Got my loan forgiven earlier this year & when I tell you, Biden got my vote for that reason alone! I know something! I owed soooo much money bc of that MD😅 it was in the 100s of thousands so do your due diligence & get that paperwork together.

I said the same about reality shows, I’m gonna know the whole season before the first episode airs & that’s not going to make me wanna watch because I already know what happened! It’s the age of social media, nothing is sacred and nothing is a surprise. It’s like with all the endless “Power” predictions & leaks, can we just wait for the show to air??? What do they call it? The microwave society? No one wants a home cooked meal cus it takes too long, we need a microwaveable tv dinner so we can consume it quickly & move on to the next.

I am a new Zepbound user and I can confirm that I have been constipated and nauseous for months. I wake almost every day for at least the first two hours of the day with nausea. However, I moved from 275 lbs to 220 lbs in a very short time. Also, my hypertension has improved significantly, and pre-diabetes has all but been reversed. So take at your own discretion. Yeah, I was lucky as ever because I went to DeVry University and Keller Graduate School of Management, Got mine forgiven last year, and even got a check for all that I had paid into it. Over 130k forgiven and got money back for like 2k for what I had paid and another check for a loan that I had paid off. So happy that it meant my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees were paid off after the lies that the school told millions of people.

There are side effects to every medication. You have to balance the pros and cons. It's weird to me how harshly people judge semiglutide drugs specifically, as if being constipated is a worse health condition than being 40 to 100 lbs overweight. Semiglutides have been approved by the FDA to treat obesity. It's called Wegovy, the same composition as Ozempic. The diet and fitness industry has sold snake oil to people battling their weight for decades and now there is a drug that actually works and people are judged for using it. It's baffling.
I agree!!! I wish people would STFU about Ozempic! That’s the side effect of the Rx especially if you eat the wrong foods.
I can agree with you partially....I think for those massively overweight, then yes the pros outweigh the cons. But losing 40 pounds...I just don't know if I feel like it's worth it. But again, it's not me. I know at one time (back in my twenties) I was taking pills to gain. They didn't help by the way...
There are side effects of any medication for the INTENDED PURPOSE. Ozempic is a diabetic drug that weight loss is a byproduct of,not the intended goal. That’s why commercials read you 99 side effects of a pill but if you take that pill to intentionally achieve one of the side effects,you’re now opening a new can of worms they haven’t done studies or trials on to regulate.

I just paid my student loan off. The only way to really get rid of it is not to make big payments. Make the minimum payment and save extra money and do a payoff. I had two loans that made up my total. Saved enough to payoff loan one while making payments. Then did the same for loan two. I tried making huge payments. They apply it to the interest and not the principle. I wish I had been doing it that way from the beginning. I could have paid it off in 3 years instead of 20.
You know the weird thing is at the hospitals I work at, even only looking at the diabetic population, we aren't really seeing the ratio of men with these digestive problems from Ozempic. My mom had to get off Ozempic due to the problems, but my dad is still on it with no issues.
Men will usually stop it as soon as the symptoms occur…my friend’s husband didnt tolerate it at all so he doesn’t even want it mentioned around him lol

If you are overweight and use medication they are mad. If you don’t lose weight ppl are mad. If you lose weight the “right way” now you are smaller and ppl think you’re stuck up. Everybody just needs to do what’s right for them and consult with YOUR doctor.

How are people getting their student loans forgiven? I thought the Supreme Court ruled that the government's forgiveness program was unconstitutional.
Oh they still have a lot of different programs to get it done. You should check into it if you have student loan debt.

How do I get my loans forgiven? I’m on a plan where I’m not making no payments now. I thought Biden said we could get $20,000 forgiven. I’m still waiting for my email to say I’m forgiven. I only get emails from Biden camp asking for money to put towards his campaign.
It’s many other plans that they have where you may still be able to get them forgiven. You have to go on the FAFSA website and research Loan Forgiveness.

I don’t mean to be insensitive but, leave those weight loss surgeries and shots alone . My sister got weight loss surgery 6 weeks ago and all she does is puke. Can’t hold down a spoonful of soup.
That comes with the surgery. Eventually she'll stop. I know quite a few people who've had bariatric surgery. That's dumping...once she gets used to eating less it will subside.
I can’t wait for RHOA to flop. They got rid of my favorite fabulous Sheree for tacky can’t dress lying Drew and her bad wigs and fashions and got these new Love and Hip Hop girls. This is the end for this show and it’s U fans fault. RHOBH is the only franchise that still good. That why they are currently the highest ratings franchise.
