Very informative video. Thanks.
Good review. Do you think these are any good for just listening to music as opposed to mixing? I've got a pair of the Oneodio A70s and am really impressed with the sound from those. To me they perform way better than significantly more expensive headphones. I bought a pair of the A10s and was really disappointed with them. Just sounded really muddy and flat. I'm curious to know if the 80s or 60s are suitable for just enjoying music or is it not really what they're about. I've got a headphone amp so can easily drive the 80s.
I had OneOdio's Pro-50 headphones (my sister currently has it). Pretty sweet casual listening experience, and very usable for recording and even mixing, especially for pop music. Still going strong after 4.5 years, which I didn't really expect when I bought it for only 50 bucks back in 2019. Definitely a bang for a buck.
Which one sounds better? I would only use it for listening to music at home
I didn't hear you talk about bleeding during recording, or did i miss it?
Must have missed it. I'm pretty sure I mentioned that several times at various points in the video.
The price is right
gonna say it, but, my sennheiser HD21B headphones are phenomenal. I've had them a very long time, yes, they're wired, but, I've run stuff through them at max volume on every device I've plugged them into with zero cause for concern - the audio has remained constant, with no cutting out, no sputter, breaks or the usual other stuff that happens when the volume gets a little 'testy'. using them right now to listen to this video (processing audio elsewhere which is going to take some time). high end gear and low end gear, they just handle it and well. tried other headphones and unless I find another pair of these, I don't think I could change (and I do have other sennheiser headphones too).
