Reminds me of my pup. She’s my profile picture. She died during Covid. She was only 9 or 10. I thought we’d have so more time together but.. life had other plans. I miss her to bits. She was originally a stray from Puerto Rico. She survived that gnarly hurricane like 12 years back. A family brought her to America, then weren’t the best owners and Precious ( the dog ) tarted acting out. Then they made the awesome decision to give her to me. They came to visit her for the first couple years.
Westies are the greatest, but they aren't cuddlers. They like their space, and they also like to move around to different locations when they sleep. I'm sure she didn't remain in that position for too long. Lol

There's a stiffness in their step, and jumping up gets to be a challenge. Like when the man taps the bed hoping she'll jump but then helps her up. I'm guessing she's about 8 or 9 in the video.

Oh my goodness! My Westie would sneak into my bedroom & hide under the bed. Once, I was all settled in... who would pop up on the side? My little sneak & of course she got to get in with me. The Westie, the most lovable of the Terrier Group, per The Westminster Kennel Club. And they are rascals & comedians too.
This is how ALL pets deserve to be cherished! God bless Ruby, so precious. She makes me think of my beautiful Maltese girl Dolly, who I lost to a vicious, fast-growing cancer called Hermangiosarcoma, nearly four years ago. I cry for her all the time. 13 years just wasn't long enough. Sleep well sweet my beloved Dolly, till we meet again. XXX
