Lighter fluid makes a great cleaning agent, but if it isn't dried, its evaporates will absolutely ignite!!!

Considering that’s literally how zippo recommends cleaning the inside of the case then yes, it’s IS pretty similar, the reason they also recommend to use the fluid is because if it was just burnt fluid on the inside to begin with, then cleaning it with good fluid shouldn’t be an issue
The spot on the case lid is covered in soot, and zippo recommends cleaning it and the other parts in good clean fluid, as it’s just black burnt fluid that’s made your lighter dirty in the first place, another thing a lot of people don’t really think of doing is actually giving your striker wheel a nice clean too, helps get better sparks and helps get the lighter lit in harsher environments

I actually came across this video just looking up Zippo videos. It's a great video but one thing from this video that I can say is extremely dangerous as he lights it without it in its case. If he had dropped it he could burn down his house blah blah blah. Other than that big thumbs up. I wonder does the original creator get credit for these videos as well?

They are so much more satisfying to use. The snap shut is also fun. Also, and although I don’t smoke anymore, I swear they tasted better when I used my Zippo. And FAR better than the sulphuric taste you get with matches.
