I give credit to Steve the guitarist for trying to hone in the tone of the guitar even while he was playing even adjusting the equalizer on the guitar in between a few notes. It shows that he truly cares about the end result of the sound coming out and he's doing his best to make it sound as good as possible for the audience. He's still cranking out great music of course and it's just nice to see a musician care when they are on stage even after probably close to 10,000 performances over the years. Way to go Steve.

I remember having a Steve Stevens solo cassette tape in the '80s. His guitar playing outside of Billy Idol was quite expansive bordering on Prog w some classical thrown in. Steve is an amazing player. Billy Idol has always been a fun listen. I used to listen to the entire Rebel Yell on repeat when I was in college
Steve Stevens Atomic Playboys album is great! He's a guitar great and can play so well in different styles. In that way he reminds me of Randy Rhoads. Such talent! I prefer Stevens playing, but not trying to compare their greatness. Just that they're both incredibly talented and diverse.

Gave Billy his signature sound and his solos on Rebel Yell and White Wedding and Eyes without a face are OUTSTANDING !! And gave Billy the edge his voice needed to project. And he stayed with Billy all these years. I didn't say his name because I want people to Google him and find out for themselves. He truly is an unsung hero.
