@ lol why do people alway bring up the patriarchy when a game with women gets good reviews? Don't think i've seen any people talking about the fact they're women apart from people in the comments of videos shitting on it, which pretty much just makes them look like they're being overly defensive about something.

A level 33 can't complete a level 35 quest?, if nothing else sold me on the fact this game sucks..that takes the cake.
Remember in WW2 when Hitler was shot in the head by an allied sniper, but he was level 56 so he didn't die.
They thought they took him out with the gas strike killstreak in WW1 but he just prestiged and changed kits.
So THAT's why the Stauffenberg plot failed. Hitler just stood there when the bomb went off, looking down on the blast like the Skinner "Pathetic" meme.
It's because he shot him with big square ammo, but Hitler was only weak to small rectangle ammo

I read this comment and was like, that's a normal back and forth, but then I saw the scene and it's the same character saying both lines. How does this even happen? Scenes in games need to be scripted, animated, rendered, several steps that take weeks. Did no one stop a look at it for 2 seconds?

Yeah, you can do a LOT with a linear game, story wise. The problem here is they wanted to make a game that revolved around micro-transactions.
When done right they can be awesome. Mario, Final Fantasy 7, Doom 2016. When done wrong, they can be steaming piles of crap.

You know, with the heavily-restricted list of acceptable artistic influences in the Reich and the likely death or non-birth of countless artists and designers that influenced our timeline's aesthetics, I'm sure the _Nazi_ 1980s (in a timeline forged by genuine _Nazi super-science,_ no less) _would_ look remarkably different from our own 1980s... but I'd also expect them to look at least _a little_ different from the Nazi _'60s and '70s._
That’s how little effort they put into this game. The 60s in the other games actually look different to our 60s. In this game they just have the Alt-60s but with our timeline 80s music and shit.

Personally the biggest insult to me is being told about incredible things BJ has done(killing hitler and dooming the world, multiple realities) while doing seemingly insignificant and repetitive shit as the twins. Like damn I wanna play the seperate game BJ is experiencing, not this slog fest.
Given their different leanings in training I was expecting one to be a hard hitting heavy weapons expert with the other being more sniping, infiltration and stealth oriented so you could swap between them in game play during different sections in missions to thin out enemies or set them in place so that they picked off enemies or pinned them into a spot while you did your own thing
That would have been neat. Each twin gets a list of weapons, explosives and gadgets and you pick one you prefer playing as. Maybe switch to the sniper and pick off dangerous enemies or drop a decoy to huddle enemies up for the explosive twin with heaver fire power to mow them down, or if you wanna go guns blazing give the heavy twin armor,more health, and access to stuff like shields. Set your sniper in a tower then block the only access to her and defend the way to her. Your idea has a lot of inventive ways it could be utilized.

You aren't forced to switch weapons in doom eternal, you can use any weapons you like, it's just fun to use different weapons in it beacuse all weapons are actually different and they give tactical advantage to you against certain enemies instead of just damage advantage
At least in doom you aren't doing zero damage cuz of some garbage armor system.
At least in Doom it’s for reasons that make sense, and not because of some arbitrary armour shit. The combat actually flows well through switching weapons
In doom eternal you can produce your own ammo too.

Didn't even complete this game when it was free on Game Pass. Loaded it up, played through the first few levels, left it alone. Wolfenstein 1 & 2 were fucking awesome but this... Well this was not.
After a few minutes with these sisters one thing becomes very clear. BJ is not missing he is hiding lol

If I were going to design the map to recycle old parts, I would rather have a "liberation" mechanic where by completing certain missions on the region, enemies would stop spawning.

For anyone wondering what this game is like (solo) as of July 2020 I will list it:
Pros:
1. The AI seems much better than when first released, it will prioritize staying by your side, reviving you and dealing with weaker targets before stronger targets. Your AI companion will also teleport by you and react to doors and crates quickly
2. Enemies are also more likely target your companion and have different personalities depending on what they are.
3. The weapons are hella fun to play with and most are well balanced into the game ('kraftwerks' and 'gewher' lines in particular)
4. Enemy sponginess is a lot lower and weakspots appear to be much more important (headshots, fuel tanks, enemies take more damage in the back etc).
5. Bosses are challenging and fun to deal with imo
6. Overall beautiful maps and sound effects
7. Micro transactions are pretty much cosmetic only and even then most of the transaction unlockable stuff is easily unlockable in game.
Cons:
1. Enemies still respawn at the same rate described in the video
2. Maps are also still too repetitive
3. Sometimes quest markers aren't very clear. Especially for side missions they may disappear of you map entirely
4. The dumb armor system still exists, although heavy weapons do chew through everything regardless of armor
5. Occasional glitchiness still exists with the AI
6. Can't save whenever you want, there are inconveniently placed checkpoints as well
7. Side quests aren't interesting nore are there enough of them.
8. The story and characters are still absolute garbage and the sisters remain obnoxious.
I played this the othwr day, this is a good summation. I personally like youngblood, wolf 2 and mew order were way better, but ive put a ton of hours into youngblood.
I got b9th games on switch & they're both great, everyone's tripping. I'm playing on the 2nd difficulty the first time around cuz going to handheld is replayability I'll up the difficulty but I'm not seeing enemies respawn unless I leave the map and come back. It's not as good as wolfemsien 2 but so what it's a side story......
@@ConservativeJuggaloPodcast i have a level 102 save slot and a lvl 46 and to this day i still play youngbloods I fuvking love it, the weapon upgrade trees are sick too. Plus the double jump and the cloak and all that. A.i. is fine it must have been patched after launch but yeah, i agree man.
The thing that really gets me with this game. It takes literally hundreds of bullets from some guns to drop a super soldier (not exaggerating use of literally there, it's about 5 clips with the blitzgewehr) yet you can sneak up behind one and kill it with a knife. Jager troops are ridiculously over-armoured as well.
In the jetpack fight the AI sister just follows you and stands behind you, so every time you move to try and get a clean shot at Lothar's back, she moves and he tracks it.
Whereas the previous games gave some story to Fergus and Wyatt and their respective survivors guilt or anger at BJ for his choice, as well as characters like Max and Set, there isn't one character in this game with any story. Even BJ's reasons for going in to hiding don't make any sense.
*needs to protect and resurrect a npc that keeps on getting herself killed or otherwise its gameover*

So it would be almost impossible to play with other people without massive latency problems. Or you’ve been saving for a while to get the game but you can’t afford the recurring PSN/XBL or home internet costs? The US median individual income is only 30k a year...

It's old, but thank you for making this. After the recent Doom games I decided to check out the new Wolf games too since I'd heard good things, and as someone just getting into Wolfenstein in 2022, I cannot imagine who thought adding an ammo system that Only restricts the player was a good thing. I could mute cringy dialogue and just push through a game for completion sake, but player freedom seems to be a big priority in other Wolf games, though i've only played wolf3d, old blood, and a bit of new order so far, and just losing the ability to do damage because I'm using the gun I WANT to use, is the most fun-killing addition I can imagine. I have zero shame in admitting that I will be skipping this game without a heartbeat's hesitation, reading the wiki entry for the plot summary, and moving on to cyberpilot.

I'd call this awareness cringe, or 3rd wall break cause the context is already known. Someone should make this famously known so writers could avoid it like they should have.

My brother and I played the game for an hour and a half overhyping everything that was going on on-screen in an attempt to convince ourselves we were having fun until we eventually said "let's play later tonight". We never went back.

The fact that you call them "NPCs" and not "characters" shows exactly how flat these characters are
Absolutely hate this game. Not only are the characters flat but the game world itself. Literally after an hour of playing this game you'll already be bored of the locations as they are extremely small maps. New Colossus was the first game I played in the series and i absolutely loved the gun play. Even if I could ignore certain NPC's because they were too difficult I was faced them head on over and over because it was all extremely fun. But my gosh this game sucks boring combat because you're on the same old boring map. As soon as you literally walk in a building for a min or two everyone outside is respawned in the exact same positions which ruins immersion and just leads to the same old repetitive combat. Managed to get two hours of gameplay before deciding to uninstall.

To play devils advocate RE4 made it work, could be a fun parameter under skillful, creative, interesting hands.

I suppose its my 5th time watching this review since the time of release, the way he is casting out almost every aspect of this cringe generator back to the shadow realm where it crawled out of is getting more and more hilarious with every consecutive viewing. I just finished this game. I didn't even realise there was different ammo types for different shield types. I mostly just used the shotgun and I never ran out of ammo.

It hurts watching this. Just started playing it, and the gunplay and movement are so sweet. It sounds like they couldn't make up their mind of they wanted a open world single player or a co-op objective shooter.
My friend and I had to rely on a bug that happened while we were playing where my character froze for everyone but me but I still able to move and shoot but none of the Enemy A.I attacked me but my Playermodel :/

(And as a side note, if you're going to have a game with different ammo types, you need at least like three or four. Hell, the basic three or four aren't even difficult to figure out: shells, bullets, the obligatory electric/plasma ammo type, and explosives)
