  • Welcome to my new video series about “other” jobs you can have in Hollywood. You know, other than STAR, DIRECTOR, WRITER, PRODUCER, COSTUME DESIGNER, CINEMATOGRAPHER, etc. The jobs that fill the office buildings of Hollywood and Burbank with regular people who are just trying to make a living. My goal to start out is to get a video up about once a week. Until I run out of steam, or run out of jobs I’ve held, or get discouraged in some way.
I’m starting the series with probably too-involved videos covering the jobs I have done and what I’m currently doing. Eventually, if the videos are popular, I hope to interview people in other jobs that I haven’t done. Or maybe revisit some of the topics I’ve already covered to get a different perspective on the jobs.
This video is about being post-production coordinator. My experience was on independent feature films, but I assume a lot of the workflow and requirements for TV shows and big studio movies would be the same.
I’ll put the full script I wrote up on my blog to accompany the video, in case you’d rather read what I thought I was going to say instead of watching a video in which I say actual things.
Don’t forget to like this video and to subscribe to my channel. It may not seem like a very big thing to you, but it is the most important thing you can do to show support for people who create videos on CZcams.

Very insightful. I have 10 years of project coordinator in the corporate world but am so passionate about moving into the VFX Coordinator role. My passion for tracking, sorting, scheduling and love talking to people and working with teams I think this would be my dream job. Thank you so much and sorry for all you went through with bad leadership. Best wishes to you and look forward to seeing more of your content.
