- Today, you are no longer restricted to moving text and images on a straight line. The process is simple and you can enhance your video production by moving your text and images in any direction you create. It is time to be creative! This easy process opens the door to your creativity and unlocks any restrictions that you encountered before. Each title and image movement will convey your desire and message! Use the tools available in the VSDC Editor to your advantage.

You really do describe everything so calmly, unlike so many others who are too loud and brash. It's also good that you do something a bot more advanced than 90% of the others, who seem as if they only started using VSDC this morning.
Thank you for your comment! It is greatly appreciated! I try to make my tutorials like I would like to see them, as I know exactly what you are talking about.
Joe, I did it on the free version, and it works fantastic. Always make sure you have the latest free version. If you follow the directions as I wrote them you will discover that it works! Have fun!
extremely helpful. You are the first person who was able to explain why the movement icon was grayed out for me. Duh, you have to click on the object. thanks!
Thank you for taking the time to give feedback! It is really helpful for me! Please subscribe. I have 23 VSDC tutorials on CZcams and I hope they also help! Happy productions to you!
Great instructions as always, thank you!
You are welcome, thank you! I hope you feel the same about all my videos. I diverted slightly in my newest video, because of a need. It is something that needs attention because cellphone productions are growing.

Thanks a lot, this is a very useful tutorial and it's very well made!
Thank you for you kind comment! You have no idea how much that means to me! I am greatful!
Thanks for all your videos. So much more information then in the manual.
Thank you Ron for the kind words, they are really appreciated. Happy editing!
@@ZiotechVideos I do have a question maybe you can answer. Is there a way in VSDC to embed code behind a clickable logo or text like a "follow" button? This would be similar to the "subscribe" button on a CZcams video. Thanks.
Thank you , for your tutorial contribution
Thank you for your kind words! Keep up the great work!
Thank you very much for the video!
You are welcome, glad that you find it useful! I have 23 tutorials on the VSDC Video Editor on CZcams, just enter "ziotech videos" in their search box. Please subscribe, and happy productions!
Wonderful...Thank you
You my lady, are welcome! Keep up the great music!
Great I will try to do in my next video.
Sounds good, glad to help!
I received a notification that this process in only available in the Pro addition. I beg to differ! I keep a Pro Edition on one computer and a Free edition on another computer for instructional purposes. The process can be applied in the free edition. All processes can readily be done in the pro version, however it can still be done in the free edition. There are slight process changes but you can figure out the differences with a little practice. So, Joe I don't see your comment here but it can be done on the free version!
Sorry, I should have clarified that what is not available on the free edition is use of the spline curve option which allows you to move on a curved or circular path. My apologies for not being more specific. So yes, the multi-directional movement does work on the free version, just not the spline.
Great Great Great thank you
That was really good.
Thank you for your comment as it is appreciated! I have 23 such tutorials on youtube, that I hope are just as good. Just enter 'ziotech videos' in their search box! Happy Productions!
Thanks for the tutorial, +1.
You are welcome! Thanks for your comment!
good job sir
Thank you for your comment and subscription!
but how to turn it as it moves?
zioteech. my images are moving and changing directions but when i export it and watch the vid, they move BUT don't change directions like they don't go right or left. they just go straight ahead. pls help me
So far so good. The instructions have to be followed explicitly or moving along a curve will not work! For example, there are no short cuts, each movement on a curve is a new movement, not a continuation. You must click on the movement each time as it is new command! Review the video again and you will see what I mean. You are doing good, but you may be missing one little step!
@@ZiotechVideos ahh i see okay then. but maybe ill check it on tomorrow. i am real tired hehe. i love your videos tho
do u really need pro version so the movement can finaly move in any directions instead of just a straight line
cause i keep putting alot of movements but when its exported, it just skips some movements
When i convert it to CZcams or MP4, the movements just skips other movements.
You may have to go directly to VSDC experts. I usually export my vids WMV not in mp4, and never had a problem. Interesting! I do noy understand the concept if it works well on preview. So it has to do with export format!
@@ZiotechVideos okay then. ill try exporting them into WMV.
Hi
How to make an icon like yours:
Ziotech
Video Productions
Make them around a circle?
Is it possible to do it in VSDC?
Wow! I am not sure if you can do that. My logo was done long before I found VSDC. I am sure today that there are free logo makers that would do that for you!
@@ZiotechVideos
I figured it out immediately after I sent you this question, I made it with microsoft word
Thanks anyway
@@letslearnsomething4589 Ingenious! So happy for you!
Joe! Place your background video first, then add the image you want to move. Resize image and place in start position. Go to left and next to ‘SCENE’ click on your image link, you have now selected it for movement! STEP ONE: Go to top and select ‘Editor’, then to left panel touch on ‘Add Object’ then go down and select ‘Movement’. Then a small window opens to the right and click on ‘movement’ in that small window. A small popup window will now appear just click OK! Now, you will see a small square in the middle of you object! Your cursor will become an X when over that Square. Hold down your mouse over the Square and move it towards the direction you want. Repeat the process at STEP ONE, for each small movement and you can make curves, circles, whatever you want. Use small movements for smoother action! Have fun! You can even do the same process with an inserted video!
Thank you for trying to help, but this does not work in the free version, as several other viewers have said. I went to the VSDC tutorials on the subject and found the following under "How to Make Objects Move in a Video using VSDC Video Editor":
"If you only want to move an object from point A to point B, you need just one movement vector. If you’re planning to build a more complex trajectory with 3 control points or more, you’ll need several vectors.
The free version of VSDC allows you to create a one-vector movement path. That is from point A to point B. If a trajectory has 3 points or more, you’ll need VSDC Pro."
The site is at: www.videosoftdev.com/how-to-make-objects-move-in-video
I'm sorry to keep bothering you about this, but I think your viewers should know this to save a lot of confusion and frustration. I know I wouldn't have spent so much time trying to make it work had I known this to begin with. I really wanted this to work, but it just doesn't. Otherwise, your video is great and I am sure has helped people with the Pro version. I've watched several other of your videos and find them understandable and easy to follow. Thank you, once again.
@@joeoliver8173 would you tell me why it works on my free version and does not work on yours? I think you may be skipping some of the steps! It works perfectly. I have found out that some people skip steps and then it does not work! I purposely, did each step and wrote them down in the proper sequence and BINGO, it works!
@@joeoliver8173 The technique may have ben updated, but if you follow my instructions to you below it works on the free version.
@@ZiotechVideos On your free version, have you ever tried to export the finished video? It appears as though the effect is available only for preview purposes in the free version and, as long as you are in the editor mode, it does work and I have successfully done so and was excited to see it working - so it was not a matter of skipping steps or doing something wrong. But, once you try to export it, the movement only happens between the starting point and the endpoint, skipping all the changes in direction in between. So, since you use the free version for educational purposes and maybe haven't used it to export a video before, try exporting a short video using the effect to see what happens. Actually, you don't even have to export it. Just go to the Export project tab and watch the preview there. If it does work for you I am at a loss to explain why. Maybe you have an older version where it was available but is not in the current one? But, as I pointed out, their website does definitely say that this effect is only available in the Pro version and many of your other viewers have had the same thing happen. So please let me know what happens. I'm sorry to take up so much of your time on this, but I'd really like to get this clarified if possible, for myself and others. Thanks so much.
@@joeoliver8173 I humbly apologize Joe, the exporting feature was available on the earlier version when I made the original tutorial, but apparently VSDC changed that feature. Thank you so much for surfacing the error and major change to the free version. It is greatly appreciated!
it doesent work, if i convert the video the movement skips all the movements i made and it goes in a straight line to the end point help pls
I am trying to figure out where the problem maybe. First, if you are following ALL of the instructions, it works perfectly. If you take a short cut, and skip a little step, it will not work. Secondly, you mentioned that you were converting the video, and that may be where the problem begins. You must save the completed scene, then place it in your production, then after your production is completed, convert to the format you want. Let me know if this resolves the problem..
@@ZiotechVideos do u need the pro version so that the movement doesn't skips all the movements
is this available in free version?
I believe so. Understand that the pro version is only $20. But I believe it is available on the free version. Thanks for watching.

yes i follow the video and i find it
is this a pro feature cuz its not working for me

You must click on the movement each time as it is new command! Review the video again and you will see what I mean. You are doing good, but you may be missing one little step!
Will you need the pro version for this?
No, however there are great features in the Pro version, which costs about $20.
