You’re the goat!! I appreciate that 🙏
🔥
have you dyed the tongue from both sides?
Jesus that’s amazing fam !
Thanks bro I appreciate that! 🙏🙏
Do you take custom jobs like this one?
How long does the paint comes off naturally?
Is it waterproof to an extent?
It looks awesome! Did you seal the tongue? Will the dye there bleed if wet?
To my knowledge the dye doesn’t need sealed, and I kept the back of the tongue white like the bred toes so it shouldnt bleed! 🙏
when did you use the jet black paint and the acrylic one
Did you watch the video? The jet black is the die you use it first then acrylic paint 3-4 coats after that😂🤦♂️
is it better to dye the tongue with the leather dye or color it with paint and 2-soft?
paint and 2 soft /gac 900or dya na flow fabric paint
When you dye and painted were you using the same paint product for both processes?
The first go around I used the Angelus leather dye to get a nice base coat (any parts in the video with the ball brush or q-tips) and then once that was dry I went back and put 3-4 coats of black angelus paint (any parts in the video with a paint brush). Let me know if this cleared things up!

Cool!
You do not listen do you!! One is a die one is a paint
How did you do the toe box inner whtie edges?
I took a super thin paint brush and used the dye! 🤝
Do I need to clear coat the tongue?
You’re kidding right?
When you’re doing the edges and make accidentally get paint somewhere you didn’t mean to, how do you go about fixing it?
Great question! Paint and dye are both different when it comes to clean up - angelus paint is water based so you could essentially use a cotton round and water or alcohol, for the dye you may need something stronger like the alcohol or acetone but make sure not to overdo either of those because you could damage the leather!
Will the paint crack/peel with wear or will it just wear down like the original coat?
It should wear down normally, angelus paint is great for long lasting results! 🤝
can i use a blower instead of a heat gun? Thanks
I found heat always helps the drying process the best, but with that being said I’ve never tested otherwise so im not 100% on that. Im sure it will still help and work better than air drying🤝
I hope you talking about a blow dryer and not a big ass leaf blower🤦♂️🤦♂️😂🤦♂️
@@ThatWrapperDude LOL that's hilarious dude
Hey my friend put the paint’s name for buying this kind
He used Angelus
@@wandersonramos11right lol it’s what every customizer uses 🤦♂️and people don’t listen he says it in the video 😂
8:00 whats the beat for the outro? I need it 🙏🏼
How long did it take you?
Whenever I film it always takes longer 🥲 but if you were to just do it straight through I’d say a couple hours give or take
@@soleconcern How did you paint the sides of the swoosh
@@zehro3184 I took a super thin paint brush and went along the edge very carefully, this can be done with paint as well but won’t last as long!
What would be dope is a all red pair with patent leather , and a white swoosh . If that’s not already been made 😅
That’d be dope! 👀 could definitely make that happen on a pair of patent breds or something similar 🤔
@@soleconcern elite 🔥🔥🔥
@@soleconcern whats your your for something like that ?
Do these count as reps???
I dont think so. They are still made by nike…if you buy a car and repaint it, is it a replica car than?!
@@danielbarabas2057 well said bro
It’s not a replica it’s just a custom my guy
Only thing you didn’t touch on, which is arguably the only step that isn’t self-explanatory, is how you painted/dyed the edges of each panel. Did you delicately tape off each panel and then run the brush along the edges? Was there any spilling under the tape? This is the only reason i find customs difficult to do and you didn’t say how you did it.
Great point! Unfortunately for my video when I was doing that part the shots weren’t good :(
But to answer your question, I used a super thin tip paint brush where I carefully went around every edge using the dye. I would definitely recommend using tape, but still be careful not to use too much dye/be sloppy as it could bleed under and cause extra problems. Hopefully this helps! 🤝
Looks terrible. I'll take 2.
Why couldn’t you use a shoe with more black on the upp smh
Cause this is probably what the customer sent and this shoe is cheap duh🤦♂️
Does using cue tips better than brush for dyes?
Clearly yes lol
I mean the die comes with the big ass cotton ball so yea it’s better it’s more liquid like water where as paint is more thick
