- Hey there, welcome to another one of my vlogs! In this video, I'm taking you behind the scenes of my daily cafe routine. I'll also share some stories about how my life as a barista in Australia unfolded.
After spending two years in the corporate world, I've made a comeback to the barista life, and this time, I'm mixing in my marketing expertise.

It’s nice to know your barista background and your experience with coffee. This has helped me a lot. I’m in France and I’m thinking of quitting my current job to start making coffee. I have the theory, coffee has been a big part of my life, but not the experience and this situation makes me feel unconfident. I have 2 months more to make a decision on whether quitting definitely or just continuing with my career and come back to my country.
I know what’s a good cup of coffee, not making a good one 😂
You could start part time to get a feel of barista work first. Some coffee chains are always hiring 😁

Thank you! 😊 For a macchiato (here in Australia), start with a strong espresso base and gently top it with frothy steamed milk (using a spoon to scoop). The key is in balancing the coffee and milk flavours. It's normally served in a piccolo glass. Hope it helps!

I want to work part time as barista to support uni, i am in sydney. Would it be recommended to take a basics course ? Like it's worth the cost they take? Please guide
Absolutely! Taking a basics course as a barista can be incredibly beneficial. It not only enhances your skills but also boosts your confidence. Plus, having formal training looks great on a resume, but remember, you also need to practice a lot as taking basic course alone won't make you a great barista overnight. Good luck👍😀
