Travel video - the experience in the Pirin mountains of Bansko, Bulgaria. Bansko ski slopes, city, and food review. Travelling with a two-year-old baby. In this video, you can also see the places to visit around Bansko, such as Ivan Rilski Monastery, Saint Teodor and St Teodor Stratilat church, Dobarsko Village and the streets of Bansko.
In general, it is not very easy to travel and move around with little kids in Bansko, but we managed it.
Bansko is a popular alpine ski resort, with a slope about 2606 meter high with the total length of the ski run 70 km.

i went there around jan and there was so much snow best ski trip i have ever went on also i learnt to back flip at the jump park

I go almost every easter. you know when you go down the "ski-road", about halfway, when you get to the first restaurant, they have amazing cheesy chips. I really would reccomend having those chips. 😁

tip: If you're learning to ski and go to Bansko make sure you get private lessons. Also dont pre book ski gear online, its just as cheap to rent, if not cheaper to rent it there, and you can go to smaller equipment shops where you'll get much better treatment.
I really wouldnt recommend Bansko for beginners unless you get private lessons with a recommended ski instructor.
Also dont expect great customer service.
You can easily learn on the bottom of the slope without taking a gondolla :) It's super flat there and great for learning
Not to much snow round this time of the year but it might be for the better..otherwise even the trip from sofia to bansko could be a challenge
Krasimir Dragomirov yeah, it could be more! it depends, I guess. They say the month of February normally is like that and it often happens that it follows by massive snow falls in May :)

it is much cheaper than in Australia. Choose the cafes away from the main street and you will save a lot :)
