- Ostara, one of the Wiccan eight Sabbats, celebrates the Spring Equinox (Sun, March 20th 2022). The word Ostara comes from the Anglo-Saxon goddess name, Ēostre. Ēostre represents spring, fertility and new beginnings. Common decorations and symbols of Ostara include eggs, butterflies, tulips, and daffodils. Common animals include lambs, rabbits, hares, and fawns. Let spring remind you that life is full of beauty, to be hopeful about the future, and to embrace new beginnings 🙏🌱

Woke up, drew my oracle card, decided to make some lemon/rosemary/poppy seed muffins, and found this. Perfect way to start Ostara. All I need now is my cup of tea and a good book to read, and I'm set for today.

@@Salem88822 while there are recipes you can find (like the lemon/rosemary loaf cake I found while watching Alwen Oak), mine was just a box of lemon/poppy seed muffin mix and I just added some crushed up dried rosemary in the batter.

Ahhh so timely, I have just done my own Ostara Altar. Ive got some mini eggs on it , tulips, green ribbon and candles and some pastel coloured crystals. And a packet of seeds to plant in the garden after
