@@PaintopwnFalse. Saul is a good lawyer and would never foolishly give up a court case in his favor. This is jimmy.

It's nuts that 5 seasons of Breaking Bad, the time Jimmy spent hiding, and the time getting him to trial, was only two years in-universe.
No, BrBa finale takes place 2 years after it started. This is at least a few months later
This wasn’t a trial
@@carl_consumer.of.reality huh. Thats interesting. I was wondering that also
@@carl_consumer.of.reality Jimmy meets Walter White midway through BB season 2 though, and specifically says he spent 16 months working for him. That gives him another 8 months leaving ABQ and being in hiding before this scene to make it 2 years since he met Walter.
No, no, no. The Gene Takovic scenes take place in 2015. He mentions on the phone to Francesca that it’s been 6 years since the shit went down. Breaking Bad on the other hand takes place over a 2 year timespan as it starts with Walter’s 50th birthday and ends with his 52nd.
Even the judge wanted Saul to stop snitching on himself 💀💀

Technically, Oakley wasn’t his lawyer here only his advisory council. Saul was representing himself.

It is messed up because it goes on his record as a loss
That little look downward that Bob puts in there when he pauses after saying 'for the next sixteen months' is so subtle, but you can feel him asking himself if he's really about to admit to everything. Just spectacular dramatic acting from someone who was already one of my favorite comedic actors.

Saul really didn't age well in that 2 year time period.
For the very first time in years, Saul does the right thing facing the thing he most loved and also took advantage too, he finally faces Justice

This short should be titled “Saul confesses the truth” because it’s the biggest point of this scene.
Accountability, you may think saul lost but he gained eternal life
Frank's choice it fits so well. Better call saul and the punisher. Great choice of song
This clip made me confess to a murder i didn't commit
Judge:Consult your(lawyer) before saying another word
Saul:I AM the F*CKINN LAWYEERR!!!
“2 years ago” bro aged real quick last couple of years💀
Obviously it happened in just 2 years, because Walter would have been 56 years old, instead of 52 years old
I mean, you ever see what 4 years as a US president tends to do to people? Stress ages you fast. Between constantly walking on eggshells around a druglord, a druglord's number one hitman, and the bottom-of-the-barrel criminal society of Albuquerque; never knowing if the guy that shot a man in your apartment just to intimidate you is still alive and looking to kill you; and hiding from every type of law and intelligence operative in the US as a mall food worker, this guy had a hell of a ride in a short time.
This jimmy guy better call saul, saul could make it like he was going insane
As walt said , "You were always like this"
the punisher song amazing
Jimmy straight up could have walked out of prison after 8 years and choice to face the music.
Youre a Good Man saul
a Goodman
Saul Goodman
Paul Goodman
It's kind of amusing how the judge stopped Saul from talking when he was just confessing
When I was younger I hated the ending because I was sued to the “happy ending” movies and tv shows where everyone laughs and heads on to another exiting journey, but now as an adult this ending is very fitting, for all, Jesse while not innocent was really just doing all of Walt’s work, Walt died as a villain putting his ego to the side in order to protect his family, and Jimmy was able to in a way repent and take a massive burden off by being able to come clean. Honestly great writing
Funny he still doesn’t correct the fact that Walter White didn’t ask his client to lie under oath, he just asked Saul to get his henchman out of trouble.
You could tell as angry marie was at saul, she still can see walt doing those thing to manipulate.
This loop is kinda funny. Judge tells him to stop talking and he just repeats the whole thing again 😂
Even the judge tried to save him from saying more😂
Beautiful ending
Man this will the best show I have ever seen & the acting of Jimmy ah man I am a fan forever. FOREVER
Love this moment because its one of the few true acts of good he ever did. An act that had no alterior motive or some possible way to con someone, he simply turned himself in like Kim always wanted him to
Fantastic episode. After all that TV excellence you can understand if they let the ABQ universe rest.
Saul's final moment was to destroy his nemesis Billy boy.
Waltuh is rolling in his shallow grave when Jimmy is saying “He couldn’t have done it without ME!”
i wouldn't say he mentioned him like it wasn't a passing comment
He tossed a perfect deal to clear Kim's name 🥲
Great edit!
The whole B.B. saga was all in less than 2 years?
Damn. Wild couple of years
That was kind of dumb, but I guess they couldn't drag the time out realistically as it would effect side characters age (holly, Mike's grandaughter, Flynn)
@@chrispekel5709 yeah, the timeline feels too rushed, especially with a big chunk of that being Walt in hiding.

Saul recognized the potential of walter since the beginning
I wish walter and saul last moment was friendly goodbye
even the lawyer needs a lawyer
It is perfect with the punisher music
Did she just tell a lawyer to be carful about what he's saying?
He was so loyal to his girl that the moment he came to know his girl admitted her mistakes, he gave his life up just to be good not for anyone but her.
Even the judge was in shock with Jimmy’s words.
Judge: Talk to your lawyer.
Jimmy: Itsaauulllgooodmaann
Goosebumps
The real breaking bad was actually breaking back slipping jimmy.
Even the judge was like BRO, u being tooo honest here! 😂
Technically, he was Walt’s lawyer for 15 months. According to the Breaking Bad timeline, Saul's debut episode, Better Call Saul, is set in December 2008. The events of Ozymandias and Granite State both happened in March 2010. That's a year and three months after Walt and Jesse hired him. So that means it would've been 15 months, not 16.
One of the most underrated actors ever imo
I see you MARIE! You not slick.
The fact that all this declaration is nothing but the true....
The perfect song to put over haha
This was part of the best series finale I have ever seen.
Real man always face the consequences of his actions!!!!!
You dont snitch, you don't rat another guys because you were stupid and get caught!!!!!!!
Hat off to Saul!
Such a good ending to the series
"You had em down to 7 years"
Dude still dumping for Kim. He had it golden, he was set at just a few years. And the moment he heard Kim’s name Jimmy came back that heart broken dog still wagging his tail for Kim. When she moved on. He didn’t. Him admitting guilt only shows he’s still living in the past and not moving on. Life in prison to prove to a woman that no longer loves him that he can change.
I watched this as it was aired by AMC. It was glorious. Probably it will take many years till we get something as great as this on TV
You know what hurts the most about this show is the ending because what else Jimmy left nothing his family is dead kim divorced him Howard hated him chuck hated him He could've get 7 years of jail But He just did His sentence to 86 years from 7 I was so depressed after watching the last episode had me in tears.
He sacrificed years of the rest of his life only to get Kim back. It was totally worth it..
He told everything because he wanted everyone to know, he was proud of himself just like Walt
Punisher theme "Frank's Choice" go so hard
THANK YOU!
Because the truth is, Walter white couldn’t have done it without me.
what a web series.... underrated.... I don't knw how many saw this series..... one of the best web series..... what a ending... I didn't expect this....
When the Judge stops you from Snitching on yourself
Gotta be honest about one thing, walter literally destroyed everything, at the beginning of BCS who would’ve thought a lawyer named “James McGill” would help a chemistry teacher to build a meth empire, but at the end Saul Goodman took down James McGill and he won, greatest ending of the 2nd greatest show ever.
Bro confessed to every crime under the sun. What a man honestly, even Jesse couldn’t face the time he absolutely deserved. Did I want Jesse to end up back in jail? No, that’s not a satisfying end to his story. But does he deserve to be in jail, absolutely 100% yes. He’s murdered 3 people, been witness to countless murders, aided and embedded both Saul and Walter, laundered money, stole shit amongst countless other crimes lol
You're right. Have you ever realized that duality is a big part of Breaking Bad? It probably is with this show too, considering it's a spin-off series, but I haven't gotten the chance to watch this one yet.
Like, Jesse started out in the series as a young man who couldn't live to his uptight parent's straight lace standards of living & eventually became a drug addict turned amateur manufacturer that was dealing on the streets with a bad crowd that stole & ripped people off or shorted people, that used/made/sold hard drugs for profit & affiliated with other criminals & gang members. But as far as we know, Jesse had never actually harmed or killed someone, prior to his unexpected reintroduction to his former Chemistry teacher Walter White (another straight lace man with high standards that Jesse could not meet when Jesse was in high school, that needed Jesse's experience & ties to the streets originally in order to provide for his family after he dies, that quickly let's his ego take over for him using his knowledge & his expertise in chemistry to make him powerful & rich & to feel like a man for the first time in his life after years of being laughed at, ridiculed, disregarded, etc by his students, staff, employers, & his family). Jesse struggled morally to kill Gayle, indicating that he was incapable of taking a life, but doing so for Walt as Walt gave him a chance to pursue a successful life that he never would've gotten otherwise (his car, his house, his criminal defense attorney, a connection to real organized crime connections, instead of the street life, the honing of his amateur chemistry skills to a doctorate level knowledge & experience of manufacturing, the millions of dollars they made, none of it would have been possible to achieve without Walt... so he killed Gayle, to save Walt's life -- to which Walt later returned the favor by saving him on the last episode of Breaking Bad.
Walt went from a harmless, straight laced nerd that always tried to do the right thing to a cold, callous, dangerous & immoral criminals due to greed & overinflated ego -- while Jesse went from a deadbeat to a good man just trying to get a new start at a different life & be normal, after being put through such traumatic & stressful situations that made Walt even more egotistical & power hungry.
Judging by this clip, I'd say Better Call Saul is an symbolic intro, climax, & ending to the life of Jimmy McGill, who's skill & charisma & the ability to con people & fast talk & diverting blame, etc, got greedy & betrayed a lot of people while avoiding legal repercussions the entire time as Saul Goodman during & prior to Breaking Bad, as he is affected in such a way that he realizes he's not really Saul, Saul is his greed & his ego, he's actually Jimmy (not a bad person, just someone who has done a lot of bad things) & redeems himself by defeating Saul Goodman.
I love this little Breaking Bad reference they made. Creators of Better Call Saul must be fans of that show.
