"Somebody's Baby" LYRICS:
He used to be somebody's baby
Someone used to hold him close, and rock him gently
He used to be the light in someone's eyes
He used to matter, he used to matter
Someone cared if he lived or died
Someone held him in their arms - when he cried
And when he hurt, someone kept the world away
Someone loved him, someone loved him
He used to be somebody's baby
Someone used to hold him close, and rock him gently
He used to be the light in someone's eyes
He used to matter, he used to matter
He used to matter
That was then, that was so long ago
Long before they came and took his soul
Long before he bacame invisible
That was when, he wasn't human garbage then
He used to be somebody's baby
Someone used to hold him close, and rock him gently
He used to be the light in someone's eyes
He used to matter, he used to matter
He used to matter
He used to be somebody's baby

Recently discovered this song. It’s beautiful. Just like Pat 🥰
i noticed that when she first started singing her voice cracked a little from being so scared. Then right away she jumps back in with one of the most beautiful vocals on any song ever. Pat Benatar defines incredible vocal talent.I love great female singers, and theirs a few great ones out there. Benatar is truly still the greatest..
damn she has a set of pipes !
It's been one of my favourite albums since I bought it all those years ago. The song is my anthem (sob😐) lol.
And 40? Good god I thought 30. Amazing.
Wow she the cutest 40 year old women I've ever seem. Saw Pat and Neil last summer great show.
Wow amazing
Love how she starts out shaky, then just nails it down on "Somebody's Baby" here. What a voice!
OMG what a beautiful performance!
First time heard this song, very beautiful. Not very many singers have I heard, hit those high notes like Pat Benatar. Great
Amazingly...Back in the day. I could do it too. Loved singing this one. Right in my vocal range. Cough...I say singing...but,erm, murdering is more like it.
Good to know in 1968
Seria bueno , que estas entrevistas sean con traducción en Español ; PLEASE !!!!!!! *********
Simply Purely Beautiful*
wonderful song and singing, semi-painful interview...
😂
I just heard her in Nashville and after a 43 year career she is still a rock goddess. The interview probably had Regis & KL sweating uncontrollably with mostly one word answers to their questions.😅
dude I am from Tennessee and I'm so upset i missed her on this last tear she had, I hope to god she comes back, Pat please play The Caverns!
Nice to know who all they are
@fubar1965 very pretty woman in 2011, she'll be playing in Tocama WA soon and Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA
Trying to find out the meaning behind this song
Watch pats original mtv video for the song. It’s clear once you watch that. Great artist. Great song!
It’s pretty straightforward when you watch this video: czcams.com/video/YK68KvmM6Aw/video.html
Why couldn't they have cloned this lady so I could've (and a million other men) married her!
@@jeffallen3382 But could she sing like Pat?
@@jeffallen3382 You're probably thinking what was I thinking I should have married her. I know a fella in England who fell head over heels with Agnetha Faltskog back in '78 and to this day he still pines over her. He's recently written poems for her. They were pretty good I told him send them to her or better yet fly to Sweden and give them to her. Don't think he will though.
@@jeffallen3382 So you settled for Suzi Quatro eh! not a bad choice!
Her clone sleeps alone.
The great look for interview! Why not talking to you
