đ About socials:
If I tag socials, then this should be done for ALL players (without a single exception), and not just for one person. Socials of some players can not be found (players with default nicknames, some Asian players, etc). I am convinced that it's extremely dishonest to tag contacts of few people and not to tag all the rest, so there will be no social links in description.
But I respect the players whose matches I post. Therefore, if you are sure that videos presented "as is" are not acceptable, I will stop posting content with your participation and remove the ones posted earlier.
If you want to tag socials by yourself, feel free to post usernames in comment section (CZcams may remove links).

When you want to play Guilty Gear but your opponent wants to play Yu-gi-oh
Imagine how many more Perfects Gobou would get if him draining his own health didn't count as damage
Asuka R. Kreutz, The Gear Maker â
Gobou, The Final Boss Maker đ
This matchup really lets you appreciate the Jacko pose.
Deserved for making me down back for entirety of the round (I'm a Sol main)
first round đ
From 0:14 it is ALL chipp damage đđđđ
Asuka never actually runs out of spells. The number just resets....
Gobou has the privilege to say hes not gonna compete in evo to give other players a chance.
This is the most single player game character iv seen in my life either he don't get to play the game or you don't get to play the game
Hes a snow ball character, theres quite a few of those in the game already. Hes just the most impressive looking one.
@@hakumenx1 very fun character to watch
I don't know who's worst, peacock or asuka
@@generatorrex6196 depends on if you give asuka extra salty points for being luck Based
Fourth?? Gobou is only the FOURTH?
From what I've seen people say, only reason Gobou isn't top ranked is because he doesn't always play Asuka, so other players are higher in scores but not as skillful as Gobou
He grinds on other characters
things can go crazy fast in these games. There's a 3 day old video on this page with Migumigu versus "Daru"(playing as I-No) and in that video Migumigu is ranked #5
I'm dying to see what gobou could do with test case 2 mixed with everything else in the other 2
The bridget high low mixups that asuka is known for
Though I get it
Test case 2 definitely feels like the worst of the 3 which makes me sad because accipitor is one of my favourite spells
@@theonetheycallheadspace2899 if you ask me test case 1 and 2 are equal in terms strength if not 2 is a little bit stronger but it's the hardest to use out of the 3 test cases
â@theonetheycallheadspace2899 there's just something so satisfying and funny about seeing a ball drop on their head from nowhere and bounce them into the air
Came here to see jack-o get bullied for a change and was not disappointed
It's insane how strive has not only one fullscreen uninteractable bs offense character but 2 of them. The only difference is that the one has to rush you down for unseeable 8 way mix while the other can cross you up from fullscreen
Thing with Asuka, if you have a braincell and watch his cards you know when he'll teleport
Also the teleport itself is very obvious
You can complain about his fullscreen bs but his teleport isn't that good. It has a set range and is predictable. Notice how Gobou a lot of the time uses it to get away from the opponent. A lot of the time the teleport will mess you up because you have too many of them.
@@Jecht1221 2:15 is a perfect example of his teleportâs weakness and predictability
There's a good few characters with some pretty frustratingly uninteractable pressure
Namely jack-o and HC come to mind for me
Hc isnât nearly as fucked as asuka is if he doesnât manage his resources
Tf is up with that breedable defense pose ?
Imagine trying to do commentary for a match like this.
Commentating asuka is so funny
â€
Yu-Gi-Oh Vs. DOTA 2 Lite
Only 4th best? Is he not putting in the the matches? Whoâs a better Asuka than him??
People are mad in the comments saying that asuka is "broken". Its not asuka, its gobou.
I swear to god if Gobou goes to EVO as Asuka he would just butcher everyone (/âœïŒŒ)
Bro Iâd drop out if I entered EVO and saw him, he really is âHimâ
Somehow heâs only ranked the 4th best with the character. Scary to think there might be some unknown guy whoâs EVEN BETTER
â@@jelaninoelI think it's just proof of ranking systems being flawed
They value winning and grinding out games over raw skill
I doubt there's an asuka player that even comes close to Gobous mastery but they probably just play more
He loses pretty regularly during his streams. As much as i love his Asuka... i dont understand this fanaticism thats come over ppl.
@@hakumenx1 he displays the best skill of any character he picks up and itâs not even close. Zato, lewis, and now asuka. Heâs incredible
First match goes for about 3 and a half minutesđ
1st game was so long
Is gobou even real
I'm not convinced
Yes
I might be too much of an noob and I am in no way denying that gobou is amazing at the game. But holy f*king sh*t does that character look total bs. Please explain to me how that first set is not complete utter horsesh*t. What counterplay options did the jack-o even have? Did he play the first set poorly? To me it literally looks like there was 0 counter play and the asuka was just spamming his bs from the entire screen not even having to interact with the opponent at all. I duno man looks completely broken and completely utter bs. Cudos to the jack-o for not punching a hole through the screen
This may be cause Iâm a scrub, but what Iâve noticed with striveâs characters is that the simpler characters can do simple things to get high damage or set ups.
But high skill barrier characters like asuka and chaos, once you get past that barrier, are so much better with their options.
The simplicity of characters like sol and most of the base roster starts to become a hinderance because they donât have the access to crazy things as well, making high level play actually difficult.
But maybe I just havenât learnt the match up
who has the more bullshit 2D
